I think I convinced myself I liked it because it was cool in college to like. Most did, and my clique in particular liked to watch it often. I was probably influenced by some of the cute/cool girls who thought it was the best movie ever. A few years after college I started hating it. There's the vomit-inducingly cutesy part of it, and plus there's just too many kids. I quickly got sick of hearing that unfunny I award you no points speech everywhere online. And the Buscemi character was overrated. Was having a psychopath help you considered edgy back then?
