It was pretty nice of Opie to stomp that rotten bug-filled cake so Andrew didn't get sick eating it. Surprised the sub never mentions that

Believe it or not, but the cake had cyanide in it. At the time, the mayor of New York ordered Starbucks locations to hand out "leftover cakes" to people in need, but they weren't doing it to be nice.

Three nights before the cake stomping, I witnessed a man with a Russian accent hand over a cake to a Starbucks employee in an alley off of 57th Street. The employee spoke to the man in fluent Russian, and shook his hand and went back inside. A few minutes later I went inside to get a lemon bar and the man who accepted the cake took my order. He had no Russian accent, spoke perfect English. As usual, walking out Starbucks at day, I spotted Andrew nicely asking people for change. I gave him my usual five bucks, he thanked me, and I carried on. a few days later I'm getting ready to go to work, and I see a big commotion going on in front of Andrew. At Peak over and noticed that it's Opie and Anthony interviewing him. I thought it was nothing unusual because they had interviewed him a few times. as I was watching them speak to Andrew, I noticed the cake box that he was showing off. It was the same exact box as that Russian hitman handed over to that employee. I'm not too sure who tipped off Opie, but when I saw his face look at that box with suspicion and concern, I knew he was going to fix the situation. So he did what any solider would do for his commander, and got rid of the threat. yes you stomp the cake. But he also gave Andrew money. And when they tested the cake later are they found out it was chuck full of cyanide. Opie not only save Andrews life, but he was also humble about it and never mentioned the fact that he knew about the poison.

Paragraphs brothaman. Paragraphs...

Of course he would look out for Andrew. He was a friend of the show.

They basically threw money at him after that. I'm sure he could have bought any food that he wanted after that for a week. I'm sure worse things have happened to Andrew.
