Insidious scared the fuck out of me but I haven't been properly scared by a film since, especially the ones in that franchise. That formula is just so tired now, you can pinpoint when and what the "scares" are going to be. Best attempt at a good/scary horror this decade is probably Sinister for me

Yeah Sinister was great but I hate how Insidious decided to make a bunch of sequels as if 2 wasn't enough

It depends, the main movies in the franchise has been good. But the spin-offs are truly hot garbage, very cheap movies.

The first one terrified me and I enjoyed the sequel and the conjuring but the Annabelle films and the later insidious films are dogshit absolutely
