All kidding aside, do you think Porsalin's doc's take on Jim & Sam betrayal will seem dated when the "we love Opie" bit ends eventually?

I mean, I already see that bit ending soon. It was funny for awhile but we all know he's a fat-titted buffoon. So when watching that part of the doc, it was funny, but it was the one thing that seemed less than factual and more bending the truth for the loff.

That's a tough one

I honestly disagree. Yeah, he has his faults. They all do things that are annoying; familiarity breeds contempt.

Opie was aware that he was surrounded by severely mentally ill, sexual deviants. You try creating a family, only to realize the predatorial nature of your 'friends' and coworkers.

Whether he 'steered the ship' or not is a debate that goes back to the days of Palestine and Israel, but in terms of taking the lead and serving as host his role was served well. It allowed Anthony and Jim to be on the sidelines doing punchlines.

Opie was a solid 5 and now nana and worm have plummeted to 1 and 0 with opie still being a 5.

Yeah I sorta agree, it misrepresents the real feelings people always have had about Opie. BUT, I’m keeping my fingers crossed Porsalin or Beige Frequency eventually do an opie doc video down the road when the fake opie love bit finally dies out.

I think if an honest Opie doc happens someone could edit together all three into a feature length story and tell the true story at Cannes and TIFF.

It’s leaps and bounds better than the unfinished Patrice Doc.

Opie is not a good person. But bad people can be betrayed too. That's what they did. And I enjoyed the bad guy to be wronged. Though it felt like what they did was revenge, it actually might just have been cowardly opportunism.

But with those kind of people morals are just window dressing anyway. They are all selfishly awful. And whatever Opie is doesn't change what those other faggots are.

Another thing: You just don't talk shit about people who were close friends in public. Same goes for exes. Maybe vent about to somebody you trust, but don't do it on a fucking podcast. I'm embarrassed that I enjoyed that.

No. Its just being fair to Opie, that's all. I think this Opie love bullshit is gay but the guy does deserve credit where its due. Jim, Sam and Anthony are all villainous in their own ways and they deserve to eat shit for the things they've done. All this is doing is proving that all of the blame is not on Opie and he was right in several instances.

To be fair to Opie, he is the only one of these fucks who hasn’t changed who he is.

Yes he’s always been terrible.

Post o&a Anthony is a way bigger faggot than post o&a Opie, all bits aside.

Yes, But that’s only because he had somewhere to fall from.

so your grievance is we aren't judging them based on how people USED to see them? Opie floated to the top because, as it turns out, Norton and Cumia are garbage people and Opie is just not very funny.

Opie floated to the top

Like a turd in a pool.

Opie floated to the top

Like a twelve year olds dick.

Opie floated to the top

Like a fart in the space station

Opie floated to the top

Like the cholesterol of a baby boomer

Correct.

Tranth, Joe, Jim, and Sam are quite a villainous group while the opester is just a sad mentally ill man that couldn't take a joke. That being said, he never back stabbed anyone and he helped all those villains become relevant until they turned on him. The opie hate is more based on how unfunny and sensitive he was.
