I love how we have you guys vying for best sub documentarian. You should make sure you guys know what you are working on, so as you don't s step on eachothers work, and we can cover the entire radiomatic universe
I want to get the Joe Cumia episode out fairly soon. Aside from a few paragraphs that I'm stuck on, I'm content with the writing. Once I figure them out, editing shouldn't take very long. .
Just want to make sure you're aware of Joe's "In the Air Tonight" drum break because it's a very solid representation of what a worthless nothing he is.
I just finished watching your video and you do a great job laying out exactly why Jim is now a shadow of his former self. It's hard believe that he betrayed Opie, Anthony and Louis in favor of a balding neanderthal and Amy Schumer.
Thanks man. Above all else I'm glad you like it. You know more than anyone how many hours these things take! Worth it though. I can't wait for part 5 of Demented World - to me it's still the benchmark.
I truly appreciate that. I think your documentaries are so good because they're self contained definitive guides to these weird entities we've listened to for years.
I want to finish up part 5 soon. I think if I get it right it might be the best one yet. Joe is a comedy well that never runs dry.
I strongly encourage everybody to open this in Youtube and give it a thumbs up + abusive comments directed towards certain people. Guys like Porsalin and Beige Frequency need our support and deserve to be blown.
Also u/porsalin you might be exhausted from this & Matarese, but if you're considering the next target I'd love to see you tackle Patrice.
Not so much of a hit piece like Jimmy & Joe were, but by god would it feel smug to get a feature-length Patrice doc out before Von. Could also definitely push it around the internet as I'm sure a ton more people off the sub would be interested.
I much prefer to do these style docs - washing Patrice's balls for an hour with "here's Patrice being funny here" and "here's what Patrice said this other time" doesn't really get me going
I'd see it less as a straight ball-washing and more of an examination of his legacy, and what changed from him being the dead black guy on the Charlie Sheen roast in 2011 to the cult figure he is today.
Maybe you can focus the documentary primarily around the race arguments between Anthony & Patrice. You really have some skills making these things, everyone thinks so, and there's a really interesting subject there:
A pretty much openly racist "white" man talking to an arrogant "I'm always right" black man who won't play the race card but will instead beautifully debate his position. How despite oh so many heated arguments, there was never really a fight, and losing Patrice really catapulted Anthony further into racism as he no longer had that black voice of reason. How in 2018 it's fucking preposterous to imagine a "white" guy and a black guy having conversations like these.
I mean, don't think you've set any sort of bar that because this one is 1h11m all the rest have to be. If you can find an idea somewhere in there, build Patrice's opening and post-death legacy around the central point but can only do 30-40 minutes, fantastic. More fucking casuals will tune in.
I'd love this but a 15-minute hitpiece on Von at the end is mandatory at this point. A lot of people on here call Patrice a fraud because of that no-good hoe. Regardless of opinion I'm sure a new doc on him with all the new info including the fall of O&A after his death would be well recieved.
patrice talked at length about why he was with von - good soldier, new pussy was too much of a pain in the ass to train, she was into degenerate shit too, etc. patrice was getting strange everywhere, but i'm guessing he enjoyed the relative calmness/openess of their relationship. anyone who donated money to her are straight up retards though.
Hearing Opie being genuine in the Jimmy argument and when discussing his fall out with Ant and how they used to talk after shows. He’s the only one of them who has a real person somewhere (deep) inside there. I’ve never see Anthony or Jim bare that.
I can’t wait for you guys to move past this sarcastic opie love nonsense. I think some of you are starting to believe it. Opie treated the comics who came in like shit. Everyone who ever worked with him hates him. He was a passive aggressive woman.
Anthony is typical long island Italian trash, sure, but wirse than opie?
He is too much of a pussy to have actually hit Dani (spelling?) so i dont buy the abuse charge at all.
If Ant is a true racist and not just hyping up a radio character, then Patrice was definitely a racist too, but none of the twats on this sub seem to mind that.
The only thing I read here that was truly damning was that he didn’t visit his Alzheimer stricken mom which is super shitty...but then again, didn’t you guys fuck with her funeral announcement or something?
Jim is gross but I don’t believe he did half the shit he says. I think Patrice was right that he is a little nerd who tries to be “raspy and evil” so people don’t realize what a dork he is.
Let's not forget about how poor he was, and he was in the mob, and his dad figured out the church thing, and he could've modeled, and he's a fan of 4 or 5 football teams (3 in the same division), and he tried everything fawkin thing he could...
She had a broken rib, stupid. He beat the shit out of her like the bitch he is. Opie's a family man and loving father to a bastard son with no ill will towards anyone. We don't deserve him tbh.
He pled the charges down. If he really didn’t hit her, wouldn’t he have at least made some effort to prove he didn’t instead of just saying he did and taking a slap on the wrist?
Right and wrong only apply where the situation calls for it here. Get with the program. We all say things we don't truly believe if it keeps the fun going. Opie is best.
The thing that drives me nuts whenever I hear it is Jim saying that he can be on his phone and still listen and participate in a conversation. It's just such horseshit. I've seen tons of people with way more brainpower than him just completely zone out when they start looking at their phone, but they're not fucking co-hosts of a radio show getting paid 7 figures to work 3 hours a day.
Been a while since I've felt proud to be British but "Meanwhile, fat piece of shit Robert Kelly" was so perfectly delivered I snorted beer over my keyboard. This is fucking hilarious, all the more so that most of us can't share this with anyone we know. The attention to detail of this sub is hysterical.
If we get Joe booted from twitter this week we will have gotten Ro in obscurity meme, assault on Ant's twitter, The Worm Has Turned, and Project J.O.E within the span of a few weeks.
How the hell does this hive of autism have this much talent running through it. Professional level rapping, artists, and now a fucking bbc level documentary. You're the David Attenborough of our autistic universe.
Gavin McInnes would be perfect. I used to think he was a really cool dude, but he's shoving dildos up his ass and making out with Milo "semen breath" Yiannopolis and generally stopped being funny
Looking at that Jesse Ventura argument with worm-tinted eyes I can see what a classy guy he is. He handled himself well, just drank that bottle of water and sarcastically thanked him for his service.
Jesse Ventura was a Navy Seal, a member of the Mongols criminal motorcycle gang, a Hollywood action star, a famous professional wrestler and the governor of his home state. He is one of the coolest dudes to have ever lived.

I basically stopped listening to anything O&A related when the show ended in 2014, besides checking out some content here and there. I get all of my information from this sub. So actually listening to this stuff with my own ears proves that a lot of the people here were too blinded by their Opie hatred and hardons for Jim and Anthony to give reasonable assessments of what happened.
Worm absolutely looks like a worm in that Ventura clip. Just like everyone was 100 percent wrong about Chris Kyle when it came to Ventura. Opie was right when he called out Jim for staring at his fucking phone when he was being a pissy baby boy who wasn't getting his way. When you remove yourself emotionally from all of this bullshit you realize that Jim and Anthony were as much at fault for what happened as Opie was.
Outstanding work. Jim trying to defend the perks was my favourite part. This is probably the best fan made thing I've seen that explains how bad the Jim and Sam show is.
Fuck, hearing the old O and A clips with Colin and Patrice got me nostalgic. Filmmaker and scholar Porsalin nailed it -- 2006 to 2010 is what is worth listening to.
The fact we are discussing a fan-made documentary about a show that only a few people in ny, philly and boston heard live ten years ago....I think "nerdy" goes with the territory
That's almost the best bit, because I think Bob will watch this, and I think that one random line is the only time he is mentioned, it's gonna hit him hilariously.
I know I'm late to the party, but I just watched this for the first time and was absolutely enthralled by how well put together it was and then I heard that line.
"A show known colloquially as the Esther Coup (Ku) was the epitome of belligerent triviality, as the two middle-aged men exchanged inconsequential blows, oozing with effeminate passive-aggression..."
I like Jim, yes he has his faults and made some dumb ass decisions. The doc was fair and honest. At some points I felt conflicted but I really hope he talks about it. Doubtful but if he had some balls. He would break it down on Jim and Sam and address or do commentary for it.
Also In my opinion, I don’t believe they bring in UFC fighters or WWE stars for their selfish reasons. They’re trying to prove to SiriusXM that they can get “big names” beside comedians. Awful guests but for a purpose.
Not sure how I feel about this. Sure jim is a worm and I lost almost all respect for him aFter the Louie thing. And sure jim & Sam show kinda sucks. But I still like jimothy and Samuel. I'd rather just watch more docs about the POS that is Nana Cumia
Its criminal if you arent getting a payday for this, I was about to get you reddit gold but its worthless, start a patreon or something ill donate hella much.
This is really good shit. You've got a talent dude. This isn't any worse (in fact it's better) than a lot of docs on netflix. Awesome job, I could have watched 4 more hours.
Ugh what a liar. He was asked what was it about trannies that he likes and he said he doesn't know. OH REALLY? HOw about the cock? How bout the humiliation of a 'female' having a bigger dick than you? Ugh at least admit it you faggot. And then "are you gay"? and he replied with 'no, I wish, if I was i'd tell you'. You wish? Huh? What a retard.
I didn't really pay attention to the Jerky Boys / Chip thing when it was pointed out a while back... or listen to the clip at the time. Hearing it in this, it's actually surprising how blatant it is. Impossible to argue.
And Jim had no excuse other than "that's ridiculous" and "Chip evolved". He made no attempt to even try to convince anyone that it wasn't stolen because he can't say anything to convince people that it isn't a blatant ripoff. The Jerky Boy audio speaks for itself.
Norton lived with Jim Florentine, they were best friends, they did comedy together, and Florentine is famous for doing a Jerky Boys type prank call show. It's impossible that Norton and Florentine didn't listen to them all the time.
Hearing Opie's take on how Jim and Ant had the chemistry and should have left together, its crazy but looking back he was really the only one with awareness and sensibility and wasnt just phonily excusing and fake laughing through it all. He may have never been funny or talented but neither are any of them now, as much as I still hate them, he gave these guys careers without knowing what unbelievable cowards they were, I actually sympathize with him at this point.
Yeah. He was more than happy to have them do their shit, and he would do beach radio and talk about jimmy buffett concerts and taste test barbecue with Ruiz.
I would add that Opie took some beating and learned from it, unlike Ant and Jim... who are still delusional and thinking they can be as good as pre-2011.
that slow zoom out of him crying during the 'plain jane' rant and the Alena segment got me fucking bad, hilarious. other comics retweeting "I get paid to pretend to be in relationships with cumps" is massively painful
cozy and entertaining look back, but the stuff with Gregg and Jim feels too real because it reflects what's happening with Jim and sam currently
this picture right here looks like something Jim would take with Sam. and we all know how Jim felt about Opie while that picture was taken. the "I genuinelly like working with Sam" speeches have all the cadences and word usage of his rationalizations for enjoying Opie and the OandJ show. There's no way this is lost on travis, the crew, Jim's comic friends, or Jim and Sam themselves. Sam for his part self labels as "last professional broadcaster" to get ahead of the critques: yeah I have no charisma, no comic talent, no presence or likeability. but that's ok because that's not my job, I'm a "Broadcaster."
you can see a preview of what it would look like with that ("Just a joke!") aids piss schwepps chip-sam interaction, which i always found to be an unsettling reveal of Sam's real character: attacking Jim for having no education, mocking his perversion with intent to demean, and probably for having no family or personal life. it's not that it will get ugly, it IS ugly cause people know it's drifting through the air in an inaudible frequency.
If anyone can do a Lady Di biopic it's you. It's one of the great american stories waiting to be told the right way. One really good thing to come out of o&a is the story of her descend into madness.
Maybe croudfund this shit, I'd pay so people from the outside would know. Di was here.
Great job! I liked how you actually did give him credit for at one time being great and then showed how everything turned . The rich vos performing oral sex for crack line was great lol had to go back about 5 times to hear it again
While I would enjoy an hour plus of "Sam is a balding manchild who is bad at radio" I prefer to just act like Sam doesn't exist. To dedicate that much time to Sam validates him. It's better for him to be perpetually treated like the intern he should be.
I don't think it's as good as the demented World Series tho porsalin has a better narrator voice. Still A+ stuff from him with this and the Matterese doc. Can't part for part 5 from u/Beigefrequency
Beige frequency does a better job of getting into the weeds of the conflict imo. Porsalin seems to paint with a broader brush, but covers more ground. They really should consider a collaboration.
He’s also go jim doing lucky Louie before the bus thing and norton wasn’t officially on the show at wnew during that and it was what eventually made them make the push to add him full time. Lucky Louie was a few years into the xm days.
I noticed the gifted thing as well. It’s just the wrong word to use for it. Colin wanted jim for tough crowd it wasn’t him throwing him a home. Louis wrote the character with norton in mind, again not a “gift” to throw him work. The point that he should have stood by Louis more because of this I do agree with, if someone is your friend and you know he’s a good dude you at least say something real instead of this non sense I won’t take a stand shit that he’s been doing forever. Norton gives no opinion on any controversial topic and won’t reveal info on a movie he has a bit part in as if he’s going to be cut just because he blabbed. No one that matters is listening to you jimmy.
This is going to get downvoted to shit, but as much as I loved it, the timeline presented is extremely frustrating, it's like Funny Games if they had shown every rewind
This was pretty incredible. My only side criticism is that the clip of Colin calling out Jim for unfollowing all his comedy friends wasn't included. But then I find solace in the prospects of a sequel.
Robert Kelly defending Louis CK was the most heart warming part of this documentary. What a magnanimous sympathetic character, considering that he once said to Louie "i hope your kids are listening, fuck them too".
The best part of this is that I guarantee you Jim has fantasized about the day a documentary would be made about him. He's seen so many docs about other comedians where all their peers praise them and call them a trailblazer. "One day that'll be me!", he's thought. This wasn't the documentary Norton wanted but it's the one he deserves. Porsalin gave this worm the dissection he's had coming. Can't wait for the passive-aggressive response this gets from Dry Drunk...or Chip, more likely.
Good for the majority, time line isn’t accurate and some of the attempts at taking jim down a peg are a stretch. Look at Anthony now and tell me In hindsight where Anthony and compound media is that he didnt make the right choice. It’s one thing to do a show with him, it’s another to walk from a salary to create a new thing with Keith the fucking cop and a drunk pedo.
This wasn't a chronological doc. I thought that was pretty clear tbf. And as for compound, the point I'm making is that there was potential. Who knows what compound could have been if Jim was there from the beginning? Jim chose an awkward, ill-fitting partnership with a guy he didn't like simply because his paycheck said sirius on it. The point was Jim's a coward.
I watched this whole thing. It was awesome. The only part that irrationally made me so fucking mad, is when you called obvious PEDOPHILE/baby fucker Uncle Paul a pederast. I know part of the joke is your swarmy British accent using unnecessary big words, but that was plainly incorrect.
I tried to fall asleep last night watching this but it was too engaging. My only constructive criticism would be that you used too much Worm audio and I much prefer your voice to his.
How did Jessie Ventura not strangle the life out of the worm? You are bigger and stronger than me-- what a fucking faggot. I'm surprised the Worm didn't take out a pair of glasses and ask Jessie if he would hit him.
Jesse is an adult who governed an entire state and spent the last several years of his life eating shit from people because he dare questions 9/11 and the JFK murder. I'm sure he doesn't sweat a fat little turd making jokes on a fart and cock radio show.
''Fat piece of shit Robert Kelly defended Lous CK'' got me good lol idk why. Probably because how serious the voice was but that's a great start to a sentence
you could have devoted a solid 5 min to the fact that he thought so highly of himself that he started an "advice show". but then you would have had to go through and listen to someone of those un-listenable-to clips, so i get it.
ha. the advice show started way before that. i think even before Ant got canned. all the calls were about getting sober and how do i make it as a standup comedian. mind-numbingly dumb show
"without network backing, he'd have to slither on alone leaving a sticky trail of uncertainty. As a notoriously tightfisted creature - Jim was adamant against personally investing in his own work. But given the potential of crowdfunding platforms to transfer the monetary burdens of flash animations to throngs of oblivious truckers, this task was made easier."
1/5. Poorly contrived and crapily edited. That smarmy english accent made me vomit in my mouth. There was potential to make it funny but instead it was just tedious.
Holy shit!!!! Im rewatching this and didnt even catch his "totem pole", "yes may be tainted" comments what an unbelievably ungrateful piece of shit and what does he think of the "yes's" at rub and tug place? He's worse than Anthony, sorry
Wow.. What a great doc! You might have shown that his demented sex life started as a child and involved him sucking his friends off (that pool BJ story in which the kid pissed in his mouth twice while young James was under water was brutal) or sniffing the pee soaked underwear of girls and boys.
I just finished watching your video and you do a great job laying out exactly why Jim is now a shadow of his former self. It's hard believe that he betrayed Opie, Anthony and Louis in favor of a balding neanderthal and Amy Schumer.

No one ever liked Sam tho, I'd rather see one on ants demise
1 Doodoflife 2018-09-05
They pretty much summed up Sam in this doc and it took about a minute.
1 EastSideDan 2018-09-05
God Bless You!!!!!
1 bourbon-poo-poo 2018-09-05
What if you gave some critcisms of patrice too? He wasn't without flaws. By far he was the best thing about O&A, but he wasn't flawless.
1 Kenn_Kennerson 2018-09-05
The bit wouldn't work with Patrice. Let it go.
1 Phantas_Magorical 2018-09-05
JRT doc?
1 TheWelfareMan 2018-09-05
Agreed, Joe cumia it is.
1 porsalin 2018-09-05
Beige has that wrapped up! I have some great ideas for the next one.
1 SibHashian13 2018-09-05
Joe Cumia documentary?
1 porsalin 2018-09-05
Again, Beige has the entire brojoe wrapped up for part 5
1 enzo_trash 2018-09-05

1 undersight 2018-09-05
Steal the clips Von released too.
1 nunyobisnez 2018-09-05
I'd love this but a 15-minute hitpiece on Von at the end is mandatory at this point. A lot of people on here call Patrice a fraud because of that no-good hoe. Regardless of opinion I'm sure a new doc on him with all the new info including the fall of O&A after his death would be well recieved.
1 AllenArken 2018-09-05
patrice talked at length about why he was with von - good soldier, new pussy was too much of a pain in the ass to train, she was into degenerate shit too, etc. patrice was getting strange everywhere, but i'm guessing he enjoyed the relative calmness/openess of their relationship. anyone who donated money to her are straight up retards though.
1 quasi100 2018-09-05
if they are anything like patrice's whore, i guess traveling the world and buying clothes takes most of the time and effort.

1 BarnoldWHV 2018-09-05
You guys care about supporting the trans community?
1 oandauser 2018-09-05
No. But neither does he.

I'm about to watch but holy fuckin shit 70 minutes? you deserve money for your efforts. not from me but still.

1 JohnJJohnsonMN 2018-09-05

1 oandauser 2018-09-05
Watching this and the beige frequency docs, Opie comes across the best, by far
1 Dr-Seepage 2018-09-05
Yeah, hes at worst a guy who was a little hard to work with. The rest of them are toxic pieces of shit
1 oandauser 2018-09-05
Hearing Opie being genuine in the Jimmy argument and when discussing his fall out with Ant and how they used to talk after shows. He’s the only one of them who has a real person somewhere (deep) inside there. I’ve never see Anthony or Jim bare that.
1 BarnoldWHV 2018-09-05
1 Kim_Jung_pUn 2018-09-05
Let's not forget about how poor he was, and he was in the mob, and his dad figured out the church thing, and he could've modeled, and he's a fan of 4 or 5 football teams (3 in the same division), and he tried everything fawkin thing he could...
1 mrheh 2018-09-05
She had a broken rib, stupid. He beat the shit out of her like the bitch he is. Opie's a family man and loving father to a bastard son with no ill will towards anyone. We don't deserve him tbh.
1 Opie4EvaAnthonyNever 2018-09-05
Go lick Nana balls elsewhere.
1 BarnoldWHV 2018-09-05
I called him Italian, didn't I? What else do you want from me?
1 TheElDan 2018-09-05
He pled the charges down. If he really didn’t hit her, wouldn’t he have at least made some effort to prove he didn’t instead of just saying he did and taking a slap on the wrist?
1 notadegenerate1 2018-09-05
Right and wrong only apply where the situation calls for it here. Get with the program. We all say things we don't truly believe if it keeps the fun going. Opie is best.
1 Pud_Suckley 2018-09-05
The thing that drives me nuts whenever I hear it is Jim saying that he can be on his phone and still listen and participate in a conversation. It's just such horseshit. I've seen tons of people with way more brainpower than him just completely zone out when they start looking at their phone, but they're not fucking co-hosts of a radio show getting paid 7 figures to work 3 hours a day.
1 oandauser 2018-09-05
Yep. And Opie telling him about it was great.
1 Ronnybbaby 2018-09-05
It's also obnoxiously dismissive to whoever your talking to. Jims a phone fag like Ant
1 DanishJimmy 2018-09-05

1 BigPurpleSuit 2018-09-05
"Meanwhile, fat piece of shit Robert Kelly" made me snort beer over my keyboard.
Has been a long while since I've been proud to be British. Christ, this is obsessively hilarious. Good work!
1 TheMidnight_Rider 2018-09-05
Great work. It's a shame the subject is so irritating that it makes it difficult to watch.
1 BigPurpleSuit 2018-09-05
Been a while since I've felt proud to be British but "Meanwhile, fat piece of shit Robert Kelly" was so perfectly delivered I snorted beer over my keyboard. This is fucking hilarious, all the more so that most of us can't share this with anyone we know. The attention to detail of this sub is hysterical.
1 jestersquall 2018-09-05
Not sure what I’ll do once this sub dies
1 Three_Finger_Brown 2018-09-05

How the hell does this hive of autism have this much talent running through it. Professional level rapping, artists, and now a fucking bbc level documentary. You're the David Attenborough of our autistic universe.

That came so far out of left field, holy shit.
Do you have an idea for a third documentary, Porsalin? Maybe an idea that has tits and had its wife fucked by Bam Margera?
1 Mintwa 2018-09-05
Anthony should be next but that would be over 2 hours.
1 thrillated 2018-09-05

1 porsalin 2018-09-05
Had a few ideas thrown at me. I think it'll be one of either Gavin McInnes, Sam Roberts, Lady Di, Keith the Cop, Pete Davidson, Bam Margera or Bobo
1 thrillated 2018-09-05
I can only get so erect, Porsalin. All of the above sound absolutely fantastic.
1 danoranika 2018-09-05
Gavin McInnes would be perfect. I used to think he was a really cool dude, but he's shoving dildos up his ass and making out with Milo "semen breath" Yiannopolis and generally stopped being funny
1 Kim_Jung_pUn 2018-09-05
I don't see how you could possibly make a Sam Robert's documentary that's over 15 minutes.
1 Mintwa 2018-09-05
Keith. Please. That faggot needs to be abused and mocked more.

1 wasabichowmein 2018-09-05
It's more common than you'd think, a lot of people discovered the show on YouTube
1 AOTV88 2018-09-05
The title alone has had me laughing all day.
1 Ant_Sucks 2018-09-05
Looking at that Jesse Ventura argument with worm-tinted eyes I can see what a classy guy he is. He handled himself well, just drank that bottle of water and sarcastically thanked him for his service.
1 porsalin 2018-09-05
hahaha I wish I had thought of 'worm-tinted spectacles'
1 StanleyKubricksPenis 2018-09-05

1 SuperToes845 2018-09-05
I'm only a minute in and I'm dying. Colin needs to see this! He's called Jim such scallopy names before.
1 cubberlift 2018-09-05
Shit I missed the dedication.... I need to go back Hahahah
1 RatherPleasent 2018-09-05
I looked at the title and thought this was a joke, but then I saw the length of the video, and now I'm ready to dive into some grade A autism.

1 Ronnybbaby 2018-09-05
Outstanding work. Jim trying to defend the perks was my favourite part. This is probably the best fan made thing I've seen that explains how bad the Jim and Sam show is.

So absurd. I fall off the wagon with more substances in one week than Jimmy consumed in his entire sober-AA-NA dark tragic life.
1 cubberlift 2018-09-05
There were so many quips in this that probably went over my head. This was 10/10 quality entertainment from start to finish.

Ok fuck them O&A niggers, do JFK next! Your talent deserves more, millions need to see your work.

1 Kenn_Kennerson 2018-09-05
Fuck, hearing the old O and A clips with Colin and Patrice got me nostalgic. Filmmaker and scholar Porsalin nailed it -- 2006 to 2010 is what is worth listening to.
1 Kim_Jung_pUn 2018-09-05
As nerdy as u/braunheiser sounds, he really nails the well deserved criticism of the current incarnation of the show.
1 Kenn_Kennerson 2018-09-05
The fact we are discussing a fan-made documentary about a show that only a few people in ny, philly and boston heard live ten years ago....I think "nerdy" goes with the territory
1 blue_magoo_62 2018-09-05
It was just professionally convincing enough until "fat piece of shit Bob Kelly"
But then, how else can you describe Bob Kelly?
1 whatisthishere 2018-09-05
That's almost the best bit, because I think Bob will watch this, and I think that one random line is the only time he is mentioned, it's gonna hit him hilariously.
1 Mod_Impersonator 2018-09-05
After I heard that I said a prayer to Satan asking for Bob Kelly to watch this.
1 JosephSim 2018-09-05
I know I'm late to the party, but I just watched this for the first time and was absolutely enthralled by how well put together it was and then I heard that line.
Probably my favorite part of the whole thing.
1 edgars_teeth 2018-09-05

Real talk:
I like Jim, yes he has his faults and made some dumb ass decisions. The doc was fair and honest. At some points I felt conflicted but I really hope he talks about it. Doubtful but if he had some balls. He would break it down on Jim and Sam and address or do commentary for it.
Also In my opinion, I don’t believe they bring in UFC fighters or WWE stars for their selfish reasons. They’re trying to prove to SiriusXM that they can get “big names” beside comedians. Awful guests but for a purpose.

How bout the humiliation of a 'female' having a bigger dick than you? Ugh at least admit it you faggot. And then "are you gay"? and he replied with 'no, I wish, if I was i'd tell you'. You wish? Huh? What a retard.

1 danTHEdikc 2018-09-05
Jim is out of his fucking mind. He's really disturbed under all the insults.
1 jim_thoms 2018-09-05
I didn't really pay attention to the Jerky Boys / Chip thing when it was pointed out a while back... or listen to the clip at the time. Hearing it in this, it's actually surprising how blatant it is. Impossible to argue.
1 JoeCumiaJr 2018-09-05
And Jim had no excuse other than "that's ridiculous" and "Chip evolved". He made no attempt to even try to convince anyone that it wasn't stolen because he can't say anything to convince people that it isn't a blatant ripoff. The Jerky Boy audio speaks for itself.
1 late_50s_why 2018-09-05
But you didn't see jerky boys wear a goofy hat and silly clothes did you, check mate bro, chip is jerky boy 2.0
1 FrankVillain 2018-09-05
Makes me sick. No shit he can't go after Schumer for her antics... he does the same... and dont even makes anything out of it.
1 whatisthishere 2018-09-05
Norton lived with Jim Florentine, they were best friends, they did comedy together, and Florentine is famous for doing a Jerky Boys type prank call show. It's impossible that Norton and Florentine didn't listen to them all the time.
1 sanfrancisco69er 2018-09-05
Hearing Opie's take on how Jim and Ant had the chemistry and should have left together, its crazy but looking back he was really the only one with awareness and sensibility and wasnt just phonily excusing and fake laughing through it all. He may have never been funny or talented but neither are any of them now, as much as I still hate them, he gave these guys careers without knowing what unbelievable cowards they were, I actually sympathize with him at this point.
1 Kenn_Kennerson 2018-09-05
Yeah. He was more than happy to have them do their shit, and he would do beach radio and talk about jimmy buffett concerts and taste test barbecue with Ruiz.
We really did fuck this up as a subreddit.
1 jewboy408 2018-09-05
He's the only one genuinely happy with his life right now, he has his little podcast with his friend, his hobbies, his family and his millions.
1 FrankVillain 2018-09-05
Amen
1 notadegenerate1 2018-09-05
A guy gives you a job you thank him every goddamn day.
1 FrankVillain 2018-09-05
You're absolutely right.
I would add that Opie took some beating and learned from it, unlike Ant and Jim... who are still delusional and thinking they can be as good as pre-2011.
What a bunch of delusional weirdos.
1 whatisthishere 2018-09-05
"Opie" is actually the perfect nickname for him, he's really boring and bland.
Opie owes his millions of dollars to Anthony and Jimmy. Who cares if Opie did nothing wrong, he didn't do much of anything.
1 DegenerateLoony 2018-09-05
Now do on about Patrice O'Niel. Since Von di Carlo never will.
1 Twatsmash 2018-09-05
Absolutely great.
1 deep_legal_shit 2018-09-05
that slow zoom out of him crying during the 'plain jane' rant and the Alena segment got me fucking bad, hilarious. other comics retweeting "I get paid to pretend to be in relationships with cumps" is massively painful
cozy and entertaining look back, but the stuff with Gregg and Jim feels too real because it reflects what's happening with Jim and sam currently
https://youtu.be/cSl2bu53WI0?t=1572
this picture right here looks like something Jim would take with Sam. and we all know how Jim felt about Opie while that picture was taken. the "I genuinelly like working with Sam" speeches have all the cadences and word usage of his rationalizations for enjoying Opie and the OandJ show.
1 JudgeHolden00 2018-09-05
Not sure what I liked better, "neaderthalic interim of dubious heritage" or "Meanwhile, fat piece of shit Robert Kelley
1 Not_Anthwan 2018-09-05
If anyone can do a Lady Di biopic it's you. It's one of the great american stories waiting to be told the right way. One really good thing to come out of o&a is the story of her descend into madness.
Maybe croudfund this shit, I'd pay so people from the outside would know. Di was here.
1 nek0mancer666 2018-09-05
This is fantastic currently watching but I keep lowering and raising the volume on clips otherwise good shit!
1 TreeOnMyHouseWOW 2018-09-05
Great job! I liked how you actually did give him credit for at one time being great and then showed how everything turned . The rich vos performing oral sex for crack line was great lol had to go back about 5 times to hear it again
1 Cptbaldopie 2018-09-05
Standing ovation.
1 bluedhift 2018-09-05
This is brilliant you piece of shit. Well done. Next up, Sam?
1 Douchegeyser 2018-09-05
Hope it’s Dipaolo, a one of his callers mentioned the possibility of someone doing this style of doc on him, and my man seemed shook.
1 BoardroomBimmy 2018-09-05
While I would enjoy an hour plus of "Sam is a balding manchild who is bad at radio" I prefer to just act like Sam doesn't exist. To dedicate that much time to Sam validates him. It's better for him to be perpetually treated like the intern he should be.
1 ThemanyfacedPod 2018-09-05
Fantastic work. The lines are subtle but some genuinely funny shit is in here.
1 SoulsOfDeadAnimals 2018-09-05
you have to do the history of OnA like a 5 part series.
1 TehSamurai01 2018-09-05
I love how porsalin basically called Jim and Opie a couple of whining faggots with big words in a British accent.
1 Peckas1 2018-09-05
Good doc, but avoided that he was molested as a little kid. It fucked him up for life.
1 satanssockpuppet 2018-09-05
Utterly fantastic. **** If you only watch one Jim Norton documentary this year, make it this one.
1 teelrb 2018-09-05
Good job. This is probably the best content this sub has produced and the bar was pretty fucking high.
1 Ronnybbaby 2018-09-05
I don't think it's as good as the demented World Series tho porsalin has a better narrator voice. Still A+ stuff from him with this and the Matterese doc. Can't part for part 5 from u/Beigefrequency
1 Kim_Jung_pUn 2018-09-05
Beige frequency does a better job of getting into the weeds of the conflict imo. Porsalin seems to paint with a broader brush, but covers more ground. They really should consider a collaboration.
1 onemancrimespree 2018-09-05
You got the timeline wrong on the chip vs. Sam shit didn't happen until years after Chip was old, it was like 1 year or 2 before O&A ended lol.
1 alexchipperson 2018-09-05
1 Dagidugidai 2018-09-05
This is going to get downvoted to shit, but as much as I loved it, the timeline presented is extremely frustrating, it's like Funny Games if they had shown every rewind
1 Doodoflife 2018-09-05
This was pretty incredible. My only side criticism is that the clip of Colin calling out Jim for unfollowing all his comedy friends wasn't included. But then I find solace in the prospects of a sequel.
1 Doodoflife 2018-09-05
Line of the Day imo - " meanwhile, fat piece-of-shit, Robert Kelly.. "
1 Sicogon 2018-09-05
Where’s the Anthony Cumia ones? Btw nice doc babe especially the opening Hahahaha
1 FullMushroom 2018-09-05
Holy shit. 2 minutes in and i just came in my pants. I didnt even touch my dick. This is amazing.
1 no1raniuk 2018-09-05
Jesus...you fuckers really go all in...
1 Dennyislife 2018-09-05
I want to hear Colin Quinn review this
1 Jake_91_420 2018-09-05
this is outstanding, please make more documentaries like this
i would pay for this shit
1 rumbleofthunder14 2018-09-05
What a work of incredible art and genius. The Worm must know about this all over social media.
1 Excavatetheinfo 2018-09-05
I loved the little insulting references. There was a part about Jim "finding his comedic voice".
1 mogerroor 2018-09-05
Robert Kelly defending Louis CK was the most heart warming part of this documentary. What a magnanimous sympathetic character, considering that he once said to Louie "i hope your kids are listening, fuck them too".
1 FloggingTheHorses 2018-09-05
Jim will definitely watch this if it's tweeted at him. Would love to hear him try to wriggle his way out of this one on air
1 dropngo 2018-09-05
The best part of this is that I guarantee you Jim has fantasized about the day a documentary would be made about him. He's seen so many docs about other comedians where all their peers praise them and call them a trailblazer. "One day that'll be me!", he's thought. This wasn't the documentary Norton wanted but it's the one he deserves. Porsalin gave this worm the dissection he's had coming. Can't wait for the passive-aggressive response this gets from Dry Drunk...or Chip, more likely.
1 cubberlift 2018-09-05
This should be TC... truly accurate
1 alexchipperson 2018-09-05
Good for the majority, time line isn’t accurate and some of the attempts at taking jim down a peg are a stretch. Look at Anthony now and tell me In hindsight where Anthony and compound media is that he didnt make the right choice. It’s one thing to do a show with him, it’s another to walk from a salary to create a new thing with Keith the fucking cop and a drunk pedo.
Production value is fantastic though 100%
1 porsalin 2018-09-05
This wasn't a chronological doc. I thought that was pretty clear tbf. And as for compound, the point I'm making is that there was potential. Who knows what compound could have been if Jim was there from the beginning? Jim chose an awkward, ill-fitting partnership with a guy he didn't like simply because his paycheck said sirius on it. The point was Jim's a coward.
1 garethgoodtimes 2018-09-05
louis theroux-esque
1 Steeped_In_Folly 2018-09-05
I watched this whole thing. It was awesome. The only part that irrationally made me so fucking mad, is when you called obvious PEDOPHILE/baby fucker Uncle Paul a pederast. I know part of the joke is your swarmy British accent using unnecessary big words, but that was plainly incorrect.
1 RichHeads 2018-09-05
Wow the early clips of quick witted mad Jimmy made me miss those times bad!
1 chik-fil-a 2018-09-05
I tried to fall asleep last night watching this but it was too engaging. My only constructive criticism would be that you used too much Worm audio and I much prefer your voice to his.
1 chik-fil-a 2018-09-05
You should make your next one with those badly acted re-enactments that they use in shitty History Channel documentaries.
1 flibbovic 2018-09-05
Wow, amazing work and you didnt include all the gay and the rape. Part 2 already in the works or a directors cut?
1 BundyJr 2018-09-05
"Choosing the imagined riches of Sirius XM" lol
1 Senators86 2018-09-05
You're truly doing god's work. 2nd greatest filmmaker, behind Mel Gibson
1 rbtlrdoftkyo 2018-09-05
This is a great documen-tree
1 jestersquall 2018-09-05
I woke up and laughed when I remembered the title of this. Too fucking good man.
1 LarryKleist711 2018-09-05
Jimmy was the fattest guy in Tough Crowd. Also the least funny. Semi-charmed life and the stupid faggot is still unhappy.
1 TapSackman 2018-09-05
Patrice was 2.2 Jimmys.
1 LarryKleist711 2018-09-05
How did Jessie Ventura not strangle the life out of the worm? You are bigger and stronger than me-- what a fucking faggot. I'm surprised the Worm didn't take out a pair of glasses and ask Jessie if he would hit him.
1 BoardroomBimmy 2018-09-05
Jesse is an adult who governed an entire state and spent the last several years of his life eating shit from people because he dare questions 9/11 and the JFK murder. I'm sure he doesn't sweat a fat little turd making jokes on a fart and cock radio show.
1 liberterrorism 2018-09-05
Literally better than most documentaries on Netflix, keep up the amazing work.
1 JPSouthampton-v2 2018-09-05
👏🏻
1 deathbirdstories 2018-09-05
In all seriousness, you should submit your docs to festivals.
1 MozgNet 2018-09-05
''Fat piece of shit Robert Kelly defended Lous CK'' got me good lol idk why. Probably because how serious the voice was but that's a great start to a sentence
1 danoranika 2018-09-05
The "tri-state mollusk" lel
1 ffffantomas 2018-09-05
Fat blob of shit Bob Kelly.
Nice.
1 bigchair 2018-09-05
Sam Roberts: '33 year-old toy collector and wrestling fanatic'. Too good
1 satanssockpuppet 2018-09-05
Those little asides, delivered in that accent, were LOL funny. Just masterful.
1 cubberlift 2018-09-05
That was my favorite
1 Icon_Crash 2018-09-05
Opie sure did love a good documentree. I wonder how he'd like these.
1 FrankVillain 2018-09-05
What a piece of art. Sir you are a genius. Some of your lines were hilarious, on point and well placed.
1 PowerfulSir 2018-09-05
I hate Jim Norton and am glad you made this. Thank you.
1 nhlroyalty 2018-09-05
"the Tri-State mollusk" had me dead
1 Spokker 2018-09-05
This should be on Netflix.
1 rcharliesam 2018-09-05
I skipped through it a bunch at first, but then realized I need to watch the whole thing. It's great.
1 WilliamHenryJustice 2018-09-05
I can't believe how well made this is. Great work
1 sanhozay1 2018-09-05
Nice pronunciation of the letter “H”, stupid.
1 nek0mancer666 2018-09-05
When I heard “slither” and all the other wormy references I couldn’t stop laughing genuinely amazing
1 alobesmooth 2018-09-05
Excellent doc, brotherman! Would love to hear The Opster review this on his podcast!

there's some real zingers in here
1 individual02 2018-09-05
Great work
1 rupertdyland 2018-09-05
So now everything you've been defending him over for years, you hate him because he's an 'sjw' now?
1 JuiceBusters 2018-09-05
Ya, that's the best reason there is.
1 porsalin 2018-09-05
I'm pretty sure there are better reasons to hate him
1 1qw1qw1 2018-09-05
you could have devoted a solid 5 min to the fact that he thought so highly of himself that he started an "advice show". but then you would have had to go through and listen to someone of those un-listenable-to clips, so i get it.
1 porsalin 2018-09-05
That's still a good shout. Here's a guy who's dating an icelanding cam-thing and being taken for a ride giving dating advice...
1 1qw1qw1 2018-09-05
ha. the advice show started way before that. i think even before Ant got canned. all the calls were about getting sober and how do i make it as a standup comedian. mind-numbingly dumb show
1 SpeckofCoppah 2018-09-05
As gripping as The World at War.
Speaking of which, how does Norton's twitter evade the wrath of this sub ?
1 HudsonHughesrealDad 2018-09-05
Put this motherfucker on the side bar.
1 HudsonHughesrealDad 2018-09-05
I legitimately forgot how funny Jimmy used to be.
1 762x39mm 2018-09-05
British.. is this that Steven guy again?
1 AzraelApollyon 2018-09-05
I was prepared to shit all over this, but goddamn. Well done, you magnificent cunt.
1 BeerCanThick 2018-09-05

1 Rock-Coat 2018-09-05
Bravo sir. Thats Hilarious. "Jim, a gentleman of unknown shape" That got me chuckling.
1 JuiceBusters 2018-09-05
Greatness in the strong middle:
"without network backing, he'd have to slither on alone leaving a sticky trail of uncertainty. As a notoriously tightfisted creature - Jim was adamant against personally investing in his own work. But given the potential of crowdfunding platforms to transfer the monetary burdens of flash animations to throngs of oblivious truckers, this task was made easier."
1 Uboat1940 2018-09-05
I think it's time the O&A Reddit has its own awards show.
1 jofreal 2018-09-05
Porsalin you are a modern day Wayne Gail.
1 HighLordMhoram 2018-09-05
1/5. Poorly contrived and crapily edited. That smarmy english accent made me vomit in my mouth. There was potential to make it funny but instead it was just tedious.
1 NormandFutz 2018-09-05
It's for gaining fans not actually making good things
1 HighLordMhoram 2018-09-05
Fans of what? Shitty, unfunny documentaries? Or fans of mediocre, leftover radio hacks?
1 NormandFutz 2018-09-05
The first which is fucking gay.
1 JuiceBusters 2018-09-05
Mods.. Sticky this? If this isn't Sticky-worthy what is?
1 white518 2018-09-05
Can make one about Owen Benjamin?
1 Ilovemesomereddit123 2018-09-05
You're gay voice ruins this
1 sanfrancisco69er 2018-09-05
Holy shit!!!! Im rewatching this and didnt even catch his "totem pole", "yes may be tainted" comments what an unbelievably ungrateful piece of shit and what does he think of the "yes's" at rub and tug place? He's worse than Anthony, sorry
1 Kalikhead 2018-09-05
Wow.. What a great doc! You might have shown that his demented sex life started as a child and involved him sucking his friends off (that pool BJ story in which the kid pissed in his mouth twice while young James was under water was brutal) or sniffing the pee soaked underwear of girls and boys.
1 CMsGreenScreen 2018-09-05
I can't even watch this shit it's so weird
1 HillarysServer 2018-09-05

1 LaurenDoingChin-Ups 2018-09-05
That line made me spit out the ice cream I was eating. It was out of nowhere and perfect!
1 BeigeFrequency 2018-09-05
I just finished watching your video and you do a great job laying out exactly why Jim is now a shadow of his former self. It's hard believe that he betrayed Opie, Anthony and Louis in favor of a balding neanderthal and Amy Schumer.
1 porsalin 2018-09-05
Again, Beige has the entire brojoe wrapped up for part 5
1 jestersquall 2018-09-05
Yeah, pretty much
1 notadegenerate1 2018-09-05
He's a twinkish Brit with emo hair.
1 pastorpotluck 2018-09-05
I think it’s perfect because it seems reasonable and not like an outright hit piece
