He also knew it was a good time to bail out and did what had to be done to go down as a legend, unlike tranpa

I think, because he killed himself before he got prosecuted, his wife was eligible to cash in his pension.

The even crazier thing is, if you look online, there was a likelihood he may have even been not guilty of what he was accused of.

But oh well, it's better afternoon TV than The View.

He even reassured the crowd they weren't in danger before blowing his skull out. What a great man.

Did you guys know he was completely innocent

I listened to an episode of the 'Swindled' podcast about him. Dwyer got on the Governor's ass because the governor used state funds to buy his wife plane tickets (a shocking parallel to the Bobo/gofundme situation!) and Dwyer (as state treasurer) demanded the governor pay the state back. The gov was on record saying something like "I'll get him if it's the last thing I do." And sure enough, Dwyer was indicted and convicted of corruption later on. The only witnesses were actual members of the mafia that the governor was obviously in cahoots with. Dwyer killed himself basically because he was shocked and dismayed that his honesty and hard work was rewarded by society destroying him.

I'm not saying any of this is true but I will believe anything I hear on a podcast.
