The whole company is rapidly sliding further into obscurity. Over the past two weeks the guests have been Bob Levy, Bryan Johnson (who's apparently some open mic) and now this guy.
After all those years over on Kevin Smith’s podcast network, seeing the well-oiled machine that is Compound Media must have been mind-blowing for Bryan Johnson.
Bryan Johnson has been connected to Kevin Smith since Clerks, he plays “Steve Dave” in all of his viewaskew films. He was also one of the stars of AMC’s comic book men.
I'd maybe give them Martin Kove (Keese from the Karate Kid) about 3 months ago, but that might be a stretch. Colin Quinn and Dice don't even come in anymore, just a quick phone call, if that.
How do you NOT know who Derek Richards is? Let me tell you:
*He's been featured on The Weather Channel's Top 10
*He's opened for the The Temptations AND The Fourtops
*His third comedy album received an "Honorable Mention" from the International Songwriting Competition
This is why Ant's in the heart of Manhattan. Guests don't get much bigger than that.
