Crenshaw is a famous boulevard (or avenue or something, I only know it from songs) in LA known for being a major bloods/crips warzone. Which makes the name about 500 times more retarded than if you've never heard of it.
I don't mind a weird sounding name if it's derived from a country of origin. Names are mostly boring and unoriginal anyway so why not. But to name a kid after the street your hooptie was parked on when she was conceived is beyond me.
