I have an uncle who is about as classic an old school Conservative with a capital C as you can get. He is a stern, joyless man who thinks talking about yourself too much is a sin of pride. I don't think I've ever seen him enjoy a really hearty laugh and am pretty sure the only times he's ever had sex were the times he and his wife conceived their three children.
Having said that, he's a very decent man who would do anything for the people he cares about and would die before breaking the law or asking someone for help. He would be horrified to be compared in any way to someone like Anthony and would probably gladly volunteer to execute him for his crimes against women and children.
