If her career was going good she absolutely wouldn't mention him. Unfortunately for her she knows the biggest/easiest laugh she can get is by making unoriginal jokes about Opie, it's not funny or entertaining it's just lame, like that podcast that kept trying to "jocktober" Opies podcast, instead of coming up with something that's actually funny they keep coming back to the well hoping it'll still get some laughs
