To keep everyone informed on the RSS feeds, the 1st fix was due today but lacked some key features. I asked them to hold it & work tonight for deployment tomorrow. Liz & I have a call tomorrow morning to discuss and get a time set. Thanks for your patience.

Remember, it's much more important to get the product perfect, rather than get it working - especially when the customers are already paying for it.

Also, what 'features' can an rss feed have? Isn't it literally just a link to the content? My hunch is that it has something to do with password protecting it. Maybe the dev doesn't know how to do it and Keith is so greedy, he didn't want to push out the feed without being sure people can't get it for free.

I think you're right - it's gotta be access control. People downloading it without paying was a huge pain in Keith's ass, and there doesn't look to be anything else even mildly challenging in the RSS feed (it's just fields like "name of podcast", "date of podcast", "description of podcast", "URL of the MP3 file" etc - and most of it is optional, anyway).

If they're still working on locking it behind a paywall a full year after deciding to switch to this particular vendor then they're in a world of shit.

But sir - doesn't it sound like he's trying? And trying his best to fix it? And he's clearly able to comprehend & articulate the issues.
