i've read tv reviewers refer to the current era as peak tv. there are a huge amount of good scripted series on tv that it is impossible to keep up with it all. since there are so many shows on the audience becomes more fragmented.

Here's the best tv comedies of all time: Seinfeld, Simpsons, Southpark, The Office, Community, Fraser, Cheers, Home Improvement, some years of Everybody loves Raymond and The King of Queens.
