I loved that first Leary special because I saw it before I'd heard of hicks. The next one was so bad I couldn't believe it was the same guy. He hardly had any real jokes, and just seemed like he was trying so hard to project the same personality he had in the first one. He even changed from a leather jacked into a faggy blue silk shirt to visually represent the change in quality. It all made perfect sense years later.
God, Leary is a fucking thin-skinned little bitch. Giraldo simply counters his argument, and he reacts as if he was being personally attacked. Why does Leary keep outliving people who are better than him?
Ha, remember his stupid TV show about the firefighters? Decent premise, started out OK then he crammed it full of cornball melodrama and cheesy wish fulfillment to the point where it became laughable and sad SOA-style. Jerk.
