He'd frequently scream about the Zimmerman/Martin case. Nothing could get him to stop being an inflammatory ass. No matter how many times hosts and producers and interns and callers and friends and management and agents publicly and privately stated their displeasure, he just kept going/ His social media thing was craziness and paranoid racism. His Twitter meltdown talked about how blacks are savages, animals, not people, had a coded racial epithet and said he'd wished he'd shot black people. What is the company supposed to do? Keep paying him eighty thousand bucks a month until the murder-suicide? I wouldn't renew his contract if I were SXM. He'd lost his tiny little mind.

How could he commit so many atrocities for so long without getting fired? Furthermore, how were you able to put yourself through the torture of listening to all those meanie mean no-no words Anthony was saying to compile this list?

Nah, he's actually telling the truth. Even Opie admitted the company weirdly had a problem with the violence not even necessarily the racist takes. The violence is what pushed it over the edge from a weekend incident for show fodder and the thing that made it the perfect storm of getting him fired.

In hindsight it's still surreal he actually got fired, I somehow thought they would be impervious. Unscathed. And above all else, real.
