Dude you gotta see "Joe," it's amazing. There's this character that plays the kid's drunken abusive stepfather, it's an actual homeless guy and he is one of the most reprehensible characters Ive ever seen in a movie. The homeless guy died before the movie was released too, it was his only role, ever. This guy was fucking incredible.

This isn't anything I knew about or looked forward to (Like I did with The Endless), but although it looks dumb story-wise, visually it looks very good. It reminds me a lot of Baskin (a Turkish horror movie) and Only God Forgives. If the reviewers are right and it's not just gruesome nonsense, it may be really good!
