The dealbreaker for me came in an interview where he sang the highest praises for Samantha Bee ... as a comedian. He basically was saying hey everyone, if you're looking for the next legendary comic, she's about to take over. Louie was unquestionably near if not the top of the pole at the time which carries with it the maximum amount of influence. Meanwhile she was not only objectively godawful, she was one of the frontrunners for what's been going wrong with comedy.
