I’m buying a new tv for the first time in a couple years. Does anyone have any recommendations? What’s the reason behind curved TVs ? If anyone responds thank you 🙏🏿.

What's your budget?

If you or someone you know has a Costco card, go there.

I do thanks

Order online from costco and shipping should be free. Got an LG 65 inch 4k hd for 800 bucks. Check consumer reports before you buy. The smaller LG's had shitty ratings but the 65 inch scored the second highest. And stay away from samsung. They are expensive as shit for no reason

14" CRT should fulfil all your entertainment requirements. You can spend the surplus cash on delicious nugs.

What I put away for building a shitty entertainment center. I could have about a pound and a half of pretty good weed, and it has crossed my mind a lot.

Employ poor impulse control and get blazed. You can balance your new tv on stolen breeze blocks. It's Materese shabby-chic to entice that inexpensive crackwhore puss; blistered cootahs will gush.

Just don't let them talk you into getting an eavesdropping, snitching "smart" tv
1 MalcolmX_InTheMiddle 2018-06-14
Just don't hook it up to the internet.
1 Randal_X 2018-06-14
Talk to your doctor tomorrow about organizing a repeat prescription, stupid.
1 Sueable 2018-06-14
Are they listening to you bam?
1 Bams_seed 2018-06-14
You been appliance shopping lately? Even the damn refrigerators report directly to the FBI
1 TheGhostOfAbeVigoda 2018-06-14
I have a "smart" tv. I don't know if it's listening to me, but I do know that it was entirely unnecessary and a regular tv would have suited my needs fine.

You know your phone and every other electronic device you own is also listening to you 24/7, right?
1 Bams_seed 2018-06-14
Yeah they use it to control my thoughts
1 Sueable 2018-06-14
Did you get the message that tells you to fornicate with the likes of me ?
1 Bams_seed 2018-06-14
Unfortunately yes
1 BoardroomBimmy 2018-06-14
Nah, they're just trying to sell you bullshit that you don't need.
1 Bams_seed 2018-06-14
I used to have to take pics of my food & kitchen whenever the smoke alarm went off when I was cooking to prove I was ok. Also sometimes they tracked me through motion sensors in my phone and I had to take selfies to prove I wasn't having a seizure. LOL :-/

You’re noticeably less funny today, you been taking your meds?
1 Bams_seed 2018-06-14
Took half a dose yesterday and seeing the dr tomorrow. No one has been all that funny today, to be fair. We're all having an off day
1 aRTie02150 2018-06-14
Fuck you, I'm hilarious!

I know a dude that got 65” rear projection jawns for like a buck 380.
Seriously tho whatever you decide, have a friend or relative buy it then return it. As soon as they redisplay it as an open box deal you pounce then reap rewards.
1 Sueable 2018-06-14
Haha does that actually work? I’m retarded but that sounds like it could work
1 JacoDaDon 2018-06-14
It can definitely work. The problem is turnaround time. The return needs to happen at a slow time of the day like a Tuesday at 11am. The employees won’t have much to do so they’ll get the TV back on the shelf quicker. You could be near a store with employees that aren’t that quick with things like this and the TV might sit in the back til someone gets around to blurting it back on the shelf at a reduced rate. Make sure you rip part of the box so they can’t just re-tape it and package it as new. Worst case scenario—it doesn’t work but you get your $ back. Best case scenario—it works and you save yourself some cheese whilst getting one over on a big box retail chain. Don’t do this to a mom & pop store.
1 Sueable 2018-06-14
Shit dude thanks a lot I’m going to do that. I can’t believe it never crossed my mind.
1 TheGhostOfAbeVigoda 2018-06-14
What are you? Some sort of goddamn genius?
1 Sueable 2018-06-14
No quite the opposite, but I do love a cock or two shoved into my unsuspecting asshole.

i have a 65" curved samsung. The curved screen basically increases your viewing angle. I can sit almost 90 degrees off the center and still see the picture perfectly.

How close do you live to a city? Or at least a place with a warehouse district. I found an ad on craiglist and drove out to some asian hippy who sold me a damn fine Vizio - which I then drove home safely and legally because I paid for it.
Even took $50 off the purchase price if I agreed to forge the documents and say I paid $150 more for his shady asian hippy tax records or whatever. Hunt around craigslist looking for a TV warehouse place selling them at discount.

It’s the Kuhn sentencing lingering over all of our collective heads, I’d bet. We’re all just hoping our boy beats this one.

I have this TV paired up with a Vizio soundbar and sub.

Make sure you have a speaker system (or soundbar) hooked up to the TV, makes TV watching 75% better.
