Comedians go onto radio shows for free, because it's promotion and it sells seats for their shows. Every podcast, and every radio show has comedians coming on, because it helps them become more famous and sell more tickets.

I would guess this is the best thing for Dave, how many times more people now know who he is? He's funny of the podcast, so this will help his career.

This was probably filmed in the smallest bedroom of Nana's McMansion. It's where Nana allows Dave the nobody to stay during the week before he boards a bus back home to Detroit on a Friday. A part time cashier at Target probably gets paid more a week than the co-host of the flagship show of a "media empire."

My uncle was a stock boy at Target in 2004 and I remember him saying that he got paid 300 a week. This is pretty humiliating.

That was for a 40 hr work week, not 8 hours of hanging out. This sub just wants to make themselves feel better about working at Target.
