How does Sirius XM discern what the ratings are for shows. I can't imagine if they had accurate readings that this show would still be on the air.

I never understood the point of doing a radio show and spending all your time focusing on other things. The O&A group were the worst. Opie always followed Instant Feedback looking for a line to steal if it was funny or mock the person who sent it if the other guys didn't like it. They all ate on the air, noisily, near the microphones. All 3 of them focused on their cell phones a lot in the last 5 years of being together. Anthony spent way too much time watching the pal talk cameras and Jimmy seemed to check them out a lot too. Opie also seemed to be cruising the internet looking for videos he thought would go viral so he could slap them on his youtube page. Not to mention Opie's obsession with videotaping everything in the studio in hopes he'd get a funny video for youtube views.

Just do the job you are getting paid for! Worry about the other shit once your shift is over.

Imagine the on air tirade if Jim went somewhere and the peasant waiting on him didn't give their full attention? How would he react if he was at a restaurant and the waiter/waitress kept looking at their phone as Jim tried to order? "This sccccuuuuuuummmmbag server at the restaurant kept ignoring me while they looked at their phone! I kept trying to tell him I needed my meal on a brand new plate and utensils that had never been used because the restaurant served dishes that used wine and even a trace of it on a badly washed plate could make my addiction resurface. He is not unaware. Jim and Sam are stubborn babies who are, with purpose and intent, alienating their old fan base. We could probably trick them into killing themselves by begging them not to or telling them we would stop listening if they ended it all live on the air. I kind of understand Jim not giving a shit, but it boggles the mind that Sam isn’t doing everything he can to try and make the show interesting/successful. There’s almost no production, bits or stunts. Other than having to listen to the intern ask for penis stickers. So edgy. Without the show; Sammy Opie-muffins has no future in broadcasting other than the occasional gay WWE event for however long that lasts. I semi-understand Jim feeling entitled, but Sam should be doing everything he can to make the show better.

The worst part was sam thinking how funny it was jim ran after his uber,yea I get it cool jim missed the uber,but fuck the joke is so old and all it does is show how insecure little sam is.
