The drama, the loveless story, the tragedy, had to keep tuning in to see what happens.

It was either fez not talking/crying or crazy pepper hicks/zeto drama.

That dumb (ex-)wife was in his ear, got him to give an ultimatum and then had to quit when they said no. Stupid.

He was making $30k, traveling 6 hours a day, had a family of 4. He was asking for $50k. Not judging his methods, but he deserved at least that, plus.

He deserved a big raise. He was a huge part of the show and Fez was slipping into silence

He also moved to South Jersey, stupid. He spent his money on drinks and retarded shit instead of a car, stupid.

You should never give an ultimatum unless you are fine with both choices, one of the choices was dumb in his case, compounded by him doing stupid shit.

I love Dave, I listened to old Dave stuff on purpose.

Having a wife and 2 kids, moving farther from your job, then EXPECTING more money to suit your lifestyle is stupid. It's also stupid to let ESD go over a little bit of money. They should have offered him at least 45k/yr. Hell Fez should have paid him out of pocket.

I love ron but I think if he stepped up and told the suits that he needed dave to stay they could've worked it out, I know he wanted to stay out of it for the most part but dave was basically the co-host at that point and the show was on a roll. hicks is ok but not in the same league.....and now, well its over (sigh)

They really were a fantastic show. Honestly, they may have been better than O&A.

The way Ron and Fez treated Irene vs. the way Opie and Anthony treated her tells you all you need to know.

Ron & Fez handled it with humor. O&A just did their typical angry/ranting. That video really shows the flaw with even the good version of O&A. They were too dependent on it.

I loved the late night Ron & Fez. I loved them following O&A. I liked them in DC. But the final years of that show weren't the greatest.

Something snapped in Fez near the end of the DC years. His gradual mental decline really took it's toll on what was once a comedy show. I wish Fez all the best in retirement, but I fully understand people who hated later shows.

I think the DC years were the best, they were still ratings motivated, wonderboy, fez was just a little bit crazy

Love Ron on his O&A appearances and Unmasked.. never got around to listening to even one episode of the Ron & Fez show.. any recommendations of good clips I can start with?

Lost in all of the memorable bits and Fez's craziness is the fact that it was just a really enjoyable show to listen to even if there was nothing that interesting going on.

They had some rough years near the end, and the new show is unlistenable.
