audio only, only his show, $3-$4 per month, with a steady stream of higher-quality guests/co-hosts (which he could have gotten, because he could have done the show from his NYC apartment), would have been a much better way to go

all that time, effort, and money spent on scoping out NYC studio space, and retarded meetings and negotiations with 4th-rate "talent" over shows nobody cares about, and working out technical problems for a set that looks like shit, anyway, could have all been focused on and spent cranking out the (theoretically) funny on an audio-only podcast.
