I’m talking, of course, about the former Mrs. Anthony Cumia. Poor Jennifer was passed from one brother to the other like a pair of old jeans only to be manipulated into marriage, thinking it was for love but, in fact, was just seen by her husband as a status symbol of maturity (or more likely a beard to mask his preference for much, much, much younger girls). She settled for a Long Island tin-knocker who was addicted to computer games and was driven to alcoholism as a means of coping with the mental distress that comes from being married to a drunken man-child. Her husband put them into crippling credit card debt buying jet skis and remote control helicopters despite her stressing that the cards should be for emergency use only. Through all this, she remained committed and correctly became nervous about Anthony’s new radio career, knowing he wasn’t mature or responsible enough to handle celebrity on any level. Finally, in a last ditch, albeit naive, effort to save her marriage, she brought in another girl to try to satiate Anthony’s propensity for sexual deviance. In the end, she was summarily tossed aside for the younger woman & has been publicly disparaged, along with her mother, to this day. If you ask me, Ant didn’t pay enough.
