I havent seen it in years but back when I did I thought it was pretty funny. What kinda killed it was when it became more and more of them just telling the stranger they interact with a zany story and they keep feeding them todd-pettengil level wacky details
Yeah if you watch the right episodes its a really fucking funny show. The only problem is there is no "next step" for them. They can do cruises and TruTV can pimp out behind the scenes specials, but if "Impractical Jokers" stops working, they are done. And I say that as a big fan of them.
