Wasn't he pulled from that position because he went on vacation right after they fired Opie, even after management specifically told him not to go on vacation because they were about to fire Opie?
It's almost as if the dumb lil' nig never wants to work again.
Asking an employee to cancel their vacation is bullshit. Back in the day, my boss asked someone on my team to do that. My coworker refused. My boss was such a vindictive cunt, he not only fired the dude, he terminated the relationship with the contracting company. Which has the net effect of getting other people terminated, who had nothing to do with it. He basically called up the contracting company and said "we no longer need any of your services."
Most of the time, I completely agree with you but sometimes things come up and it's not unreasonable if something were to come up to maybe delay your vacation.
Now if I had already had a bunch of money spent and my employer isn't reimbursing me they can get fucked.
I work in a field where it's trivial to find a new job. It sucks for E-Rock that he isn't. If I was in his place, I probably would've stuck around.
When that same boss pulled that stunt on me, I basically made a phone call and joined a friend at his company. They gave me a little bit of a raise. The crazy part was that they actually matched my stock options.
You would be surprised how often that works on the executive level. Erock doesnβt have the weight (outside of literal weight) to make it work, but itβs not always a bad idea to let a company know why and how you could improve their product if they give you control.
I love how they tried to make it look like Erock was some sort of player in upper management, when really they were just shuffling him around until the end of his contract when they could dumb his bloated deal.
If Erock was really serious about getting back into the business he'd move the fuck out of the NYC area.
Yeah, that's what I meant by incoming. Probably should have said "new management".
He has family money, but he is also one of the few people, outside of Steve C, who brought their over inflated XM salery over to Sirius. Plus that 100k he won is pretty sweet.
That salery hopefully set him up. And he didn't blow it all on treats. Because that same money is what got him laid off. Even o&a took a paycut post-merger.
I wonder how long his wife is gonna let him sit on his ass unemployed playing with toys in his basement before she divorce rapes him and takes all his treat money away.
Erock is absolutely qualified to do this job. It sucks that he has no self esteem. I just looked up a couple of Sirius vice presidents on LinkedIn, and they are no more qualified than E-Rock is.
And the thing that sets E-Rock apart is that he's been working in this field for nearly twenty years. He has TONS of experience.
Talk radio is dead and sirius will never hire the former senior producer of O&A.
So please explain how is 20 years in a dead business could possibly lead to any actual job. Nigga may as well have spent the last 20 years working at goodwill as a door greeter.
He also spent the majority of his career working for the most despised radio show in the business doing a format that died more than 10 years ago. My guess is most people still in the radio business would look upon anyone associated with O&A as cancer.
Oh no way, Tom Leykis is absolutely the most despised show in radio. It's remarkable how many people in the media have openly trashed that guy. It always warms my heart when I see some oddball trashing that Leykis gets, often in the weirdest spots. For instance, even South Park made fun of him:
I love how they tried to make it look like Erock was some sort of player in upper management, when really they were just shuffling him around until the end of his contract when they could dumb his bloated deal.

Oh Erock, don't you know that talk radio is dead and gone and your entire career is about as relevant as spending 20 years as a burger king fry cook?

Erock being Jim and Sam's boss would be hilarious.

He was. For a week. Then he was fired.

I for one welcome our new vice president and his sweeping "free ice cream coke floats mondays, wednesdays, thuesdays and fridays" changes.
1 MalcolmX_InTheMiddle 2018-05-29
Corporations don't hire fat people for new incoming management. Especially in NYC.
It makes it look like you don't have your life together. And, to be fair, you probably don't.
1 MrPoopyButtwholes 2018-05-29
They'll hire fat OLDER people, but never anyone on the younger side. If Erock didn't have daddy's money to fall back on he'd be absolutely fucked.

This fat pig has some Opie traits.
First publicly shit on the people working at a company, then apply for a leadership role.
"No chance, but why not" - Yeah but if they offered him that position piggy boy would be wearing a tie in 10 sec.
1 McGowan9 2018-05-29
He must know he's unemployable.
1 MrPoopyButtwholes 2018-05-29
I dunno, he never seemed to be very smart.
1 tranthonycumiashow 2018-05-29
I really hope he gets hired there. Opie would bitch about it endlessly.
