Tbh, he did lead over the channel during it's period of biggest fuck ups. Including moving Ron and Fez off the channel and talks of splitting the show up and putting Opie in afternoons.
The first I heard about his current connection to Opie was on that Opie-bashing podcast. Being a loser who reads this sub daily I don't know how that happened. Anyway. Senior VP? Shit. I'm enjoying the fantasy now that he's still in contact with Howard and this whole thing is Stern's plan to place Opie on the lowest most pathetic rung of the broadcasting industry in existence.
