It is, for the most part, a separate show with a separate cast of characters. The humor is more clever/character driven than edgy/shocking. It's a show that only gets better listening to more and understanding who and what each person does on the show and how they contribute. Callers are generally funnier and contribute more substantially
Its a much slower burn than opie and anthony and honestly it took me a long time of listening to it to figure who everyone was and what their roles were. But once it clicks its worth it. Plus, if you feel like youve listened to too much o&a, r&f had a really good run, arguably a longer peak than o&a. Ive listened to shows from 2001 to 2015 and they were all entertaining in their own way. Good place to start is the BL saga, then listen to whatever else sounds interesting to you.
Easy to say that now. Opie and Anthony achieved things on radio that only Howard Stern and maybe Rush Limbaugh in a different circle ever surpassed. They also introduced the world to several of the biggest and best comedians of our time and provided us with significantly more hours of hilarious radio than most anyone ever. Deplorable, pathetic pieces of shit today and probably even then yes but as the Opester said, it makes for great radio brotherman sniff
R&F callers were 12 leagues better than O&A callers, partially due to the demographic and partially because Ron was so much better at picking/handling callers than Tits

When you say OandA are you meaning Oral and Anal, or Opie and Anthony? Because I agree with you on one but not the other

There’s a difference?

I don't think that's controversial anymore.

Is it possible for someone to get into the show when they have never listened to it, and now hates the 'universe' its part of

I will say that Ron Bennington at this point is better than Opie or Anthony.

Good Ron and Fez was always better than any era of O&A. The problem is they sortof gave up once the interrobang era started.

Not controversial at all. I've always thought that. R&F wasn't a funnier show, but it was a better show.

I really miss Ron and Fez. The Bennington show stinks, and I don’t like it.
