I know everyone here would love this twisted and extreme exhibit of concentrated autism. And I know we’re all starved for content to listen to these days (despite a wealth of podcasts where comics explain their “process” to us lowly civilians.)
There should be 30 parts in total according to the uploaded. I’m fucking obsessed.
Chris Chan's an interesting case study in how not to respond to internet attention.
When he was first "discovered" by SomethingAwful/ED in 2007, there was no reason to think he was anything except a weirdo with a crappy webcomic. Everything was uncovered since - his romantic life, his home life - came as a result of him volunteering that information.
A classic example was when a troll on IRC accused him of wearing women's underwear. Chris retorted "I have NUMBERS OF PAIRS OF DIRTY, CRAPPED BRIEFS", apparently thinking that would get him off the hook. (I guess he meant something like "sometimes I have to wear women's panties by necessity, because I keep shitting myself and all my male underwear is soiled). The fact that this was even more embarrassing seemed lost on him.
Chris-chan "historians" have a saying: the greatest troll is Chris himself. He could have avoided literally all of the scrutiny he was subjected to if only he'd kept his mouth shut.
Two autistic liars of similar ilk and entertainment value. I'd link them but a simple youtube search of either of their names yields nothing but gold, so there's no need to start anywhere in particular. Also, unlike Chris Chan, each are roughly half (((white)))
