1: Cartoon caricatures of yourself are bad enough.
2: It's not even good, it looks like something he got done on Fiver.
3: The cartoon looks like a cowardly ugly old effeminate uncle, just like the real Anthony. Normally drawings are used to make you appear more attractive and stoic than you actually are.

It's not that hard - you buy a suggested bill of parts, and then stick it together like Lego. In the 90s there were a couple of extra traps - you had to tell the PC which was your first hard drive, and which was your second; and you had to tell your sound and network card what number to use to contact your CPU - but it still wasn't that hard, and plenty of high school kids did it without knowing shit.
That's assuming he did all that himself, rather than just hinting he did.
(Yes, I've avoided the terms "jumper" and "IRQ level", because that just muddies the water without changing the meaning of what you had to do)
