Another Flawless Diagnosis by Doctors Jim and Sam
1 2018-05-11 by drconn
What idiot hears Donald Blankenship say "China People" two or three times and then confidently diagnosis the man as having autism? And when their radio partner declares Donald to have OCD, they decide that is a better fit. They then both pat each other on the back when the clip of Blankenship confirms their OCD suspicions, once Blankenship brings up a number or two surrounding his point. For being clueless simpletons, the confidence Jim and Sam exude when talking on a clinical level is astounding.

I’ve watched this sub call anyone who doesn’t follow the “Fuck everything, it sucks” pack mentality autistic.
It’s almost as annoying as snap-diagnosing anyone who doesn’t go full alpha bro at every situation.

You sound like an autistic, cuck, faggot

It does read like this subreddit has previously diagnosed poor Barry here as being an autistic cuck.

Id say the diagnosis was based on solid reliable data

Isn't there a law against broadcasters diagnosing people they have never consulted professionally?

I'm not sure if it applies to people who aren't psychiatrists.

Goldwater rule
The Goldwater rule is the informal name given to Section 7 in the American Psychiatric Association's (APA) Principles of Medical Ethics, which states that it is unethical for psychiatrists to give a professional opinion about public figures whom they have not examined in person, and from whom they have not obtained consent to discuss their mental health in public statements. It is named after presidential candidate Barry Goldwater.
The issue arose in 1964 when Fact published the article "The Unconscious of a Conservative: A Special Issue on the Mind of Barry Goldwater". The magazine polled psychiatrists about U.S. Senator Barry Goldwater and whether he was fit to be president.

If you read the very first sentence of the article you linked, you would know it's a professional rule for psychiatrists not a law.

The comment was deleted, was he providing a professional diagnosis?
