Eh, a spook executed a seated person with a bullet to the back of the head. The victim had a hood over head so you see the round exit followed by blood. The hood must have contained the brain, eyeballs, and skull frags. All while played to music.
That was entertaining, prob. not the reaction the dude wanted (who give a fuck about identity politics amiriite....) but as far as videos go it was worth a watch.
People talking about what a deep message this song has, thanks for confirming what I already expected when I heard a black man had a deep message about anything. Muh oppression.
It's a video up for interpretation, which I think is pretty cool.
To me it's about how the American media ignores the real problems in the community (violence, murder, generally thuggery) to put forth this happy, positive, modern day minstrel show. Like the "don't catcha slippin tho" part - right out of a DJ Khaled hook. While cars get set on fire and church choirs get massacred, Gambino and his backup dancers just smile like Mammy and bust out some solid moves. Despite the forced message of black success as portrayed in the media, black people aren't driving 2018 lime green Lambos like Drake, they're driving 1992 Toyota Corollas.
It certainly is a lot deeper than simply "white people are racist wahh".
If we're being honest it's "Black Regional Louie", except fat, jewish internet critics from trust fund families can overcompensate with ludicrously over the top critical praise for every single thing it does, guilt-free
I don't who this motherfucker is nor do I care. I've heard there was a show called community but can't tell you one person that is on the show. I didn't even know this video existed till it was brought up on jim and sam and It like every other rapper and song to come out in recent years. There's a whole culture that exist out ther that I'm not aware of to me or people I know.

I never viewed it. Saw the skin colour.
Now if it was female, blonde, blue-eyed with heaving jiggly breasts...

Whenever a black person says "America" in a sentence it's headline news. A whole song though? It was destined to be everywhere.

Serious political guy in me says that's the whole Democrat's platform.

He’s also blasting blacks for shucking and jiving while their cities burn down. It’s not all about the evil white man
1 TinKnockinMoroccan 2018-05-09
Eh, his music pretty good.
1 A_Friendly_Creeper 2018-05-09
Do you also think KISS is a great rock band?
1 TinKnockinMoroccan 2018-05-09
No. But Childish Gambino makes very solid music in my opinion.

I like Atlanta. Teddy Perkins was the shit.
1 B0NEck 2018-05-09
Pretty sure the video is just as much an indictment of black America.
1 emerge_from_the_mist 2018-05-09
It is. OP is a dunce
1 Subeck 2018-05-09
Its not being interpreted that way by a lot of people though. They only see the anti white parts
1 Woodaby 2018-05-09
Those people are stupid.
1 enzo_trash 2018-05-09
his voice only sounds good thru filters
this is why he lip syncs this goof video
1 allenricketts 2018-05-09
Seems like you're the one whining. You're also a non perceptive dunce.

the 70s soul of the last album over this Kendrick rip off. i’ll give the new album a listen, but i don’t have my hopes up.
1 DigitalTorque 2018-05-09
i liked the 70s soul of his last album, but if this next one is more of this Kendrick rip off shit then i’m out.
1 Subeck 2018-05-09
You dont like him ripping off kendrick but you have no problem with him ripping off 70s soul?
1 iWhoreSchortSchorts 2018-05-09
Black people stole soul music from white record companies.

I loved him as Troy in Community and never realized how big of a cunt he was.

This video wasn't just a typical "white people are the devil" thing. I think Troy deserves a but more credit than that.
1 Yaseetheo 2018-05-09
I fucking hate him and anyone who likes him.
1 bhp5 2018-05-09
brutha said something there
1 Opprobriousness 2018-05-09
He's an Air Force brat with a white fiance and children and got his start in improv comedy. White fans made him big.
He might be focusing on being more openly pro-black lately, but I have never and still do not see anything he does as really anti-white.
Plus regardless, this was a fucking cool video. Hiro Murai is a solid director.
1 Christopher_Barton 2018-05-09
Barry wasn't that bad, either.
1 Opprobriousness 2018-05-09
I'm really enjoying that show and was surprised to see his name pop up at the end of some episodes. Good shit.
1 SlamballReunionTour 2018-05-09
Atlanta is quite good, it could be so, so much worse than it is.
1 Opprobriousness 2018-05-09
I was kind of iffy after season one but season two really hit its stride and I'm quite enjoying it. It's a pretty unique show.
