Friendly reminder... It's is unfathomable how despicable Anthony was to Jim and Ron, he knowingly made them look like complete dicks who along with everyone else, were hoodwinked on his show just before he left for rehab, which was also still at a time where he insisted that he was being unjustly punished for the beating and forced restraint of his girlfriend, and allowed for that show to be interpreted by his guests and audience, as a life changing moment where his two dear friends were finally watching Anthony, who has been charging towards rock bottom, save his life and change the person he is. And remember, Jim and Ron are two people, whom had worked with, and become "beloved" friends, for almost 20 years, they also were his two greatest supporters when he was fired from SiriusXM, and are two of only a few people who today continue to promote and support him personally and professionally, and finally, they are two people (well at least one is) who feel that after living lives evicerated by addiction, they owe their life to sobriety. Anthony has publicly stated he never had any intention of actually staying sober, and that everything was a show he needed to do to get away from being punished from a crime he committed. What type of filth does this. I honestly get uncomfortable listening to his voice now.

I am pretty sick of people claiming that they would have played it any other way than Jim did. He vocally denounced the firing over and over, he supported Anthony's show from day 1, etc. I really feel that people have misplaced anger which should be intended for only Opie.

Agreed. Opie is the only one who could've actually reversed Ant's firing. O&A still had some pull back in 2014, and a walk-out en masse probably would've changed Sirius' mind. But stupid big titted Opie thought Ant was holding him back from bigger and better things, like pop-ups and taking selfies with Vic Henley.
