I think this man would genuinely say that he'll never be in the same category because he successfully held a job (that he eventually got fired from), because he does more than drink all day (he also assaults women and stays up all night disparaging minorities), and because he is the successful owner of a business he started himself (well, hired an incompetent person to start up and manage as well as the incompetent's wife who washes and folds Anthony's clothes and probably does the grocery shopping before the person who does the cooking arrives).
The only differences between him and Lady Di at this point is he has more money, more people who will pretend to care about him, and he is younger. Time is not on his side and I would consider him tremendously lucky if he lives to her age.
