Hidden gem is that it’s Denny’s first appearance. They are eating his schtick up.

Hidden Gem?

I thought that is what the show was mainly known for.

Either way, last good thing Opie, Anthony or Jim were even remotely part of.

I'm sure I'm the only one who thinks this, but the Denny appearance kinda stole Erock's spotlight.

I don't listen to O&A for Good Broadcasting(tm). I want complete train wrecks.

At first, Opie awkwardly tried to "talk shop" with Denny about the radio business. I'm not sure when during that show he decided to become a permanent bully to Denny, but I like to think it was because he realized how much more talented Denny was as a broadcaster.

I could never decide which was more annoying: the awful attempt at bullying, or the fact that he liked having him on regardless because he has zero knowledge or experience with any other thing than the boring fuck "business of radio". Everyone around him is making jokes about lots of different subjects, while Opie just wants to blather about Howard or eventually, later, talk to Denny.

What an absolute bore. And absurd he ever had a career in entertainment.

Denny had a line that killed, something like "don't tune that dial too far or you'll end up in the glove box"

Erik was bombed

Last best.
