If he just ditched the green screen and stopped awkwardly mugging at the camera like he's a news reader for most of the show, it'd make AA so much more watchable.
What is sad, it really had potential. If he decided to remain funny instead of going political all the time, and brought in someone who complemented him well to play the Opie role, it could have been something special. He could have spun the network as a rogue entity to give it some kind of identity (which it lacks), invested heavily and wisely enough to bring in the right personalities, decided against a paywall and let word of mouth market the damn thing. He blew it.
