Wow that was fucking boring. Its funny how gail apparently was at rons side her entire life and not one ounce of his humor rubbed off on her. She is the biggest hole.
Same here but after a minute it was a struggle to keep it on. Shes a boring fat cunt and i really wish they wouldve talked about anything else but her stupid kid. Fez had that good line at the end but that was about it.
Holy Fuck - Fezzie's stents held up and he is back. It would make me so happy if he came back with his old confidence. In his day he was quicker and funnier than Ron, Ant, and Jim.
Fez was a fucking BEAST on WNEW. Way he'd trash Staples...the endless impressions... he challenged Anthony to a naked wrestling match 1st day they went on air together with O&A...
Was really cool to hear Fez -- and to hear way Ron talked about Fez after he hung up.
And as for The Bennington Show - it speaks volumes about Ron, as a person, to spend the twilight years of his professional career doing radio with his daughter.

Ron and Fez really is the bizarro Opie and Anthony in the way that it ended and the aftermath. Fez only got better, Ron is happy doing a show with his kid, everyone still loves them both, they are still close friends, and neither of them are addicted to Twitter. There's a reason only one of the fanbases turned into "haters".
O&A was always for the mean kids though. Ron and Fez was always nicer and more dedicated but not really memorable. There is a reason this sub is so much funnier than their sub.
We thrive on hate. the sort of idiots that enjoy Ron and Fez also enjoy Bennington.
O&A fans are angry people who respond to things that amplify and validate their rage. Ron & Fez were the Snuggle Bear comedown show so we wouldn't just drink ourselves blind and eat a bullet.
The demise of both shows, coupled with tehe continual popularity of this sub only goes to show that Opie and Anthony as a show was a toxic sinkhole but one that many people needed. Meanwhile the demise of Ron and Fez also showed that we could cope without needing a softer show. In other words, we are totally f***** up people but somehow healthier then the very people that made the show we listen to.
R&F were so much funnier and a funnier show, it just takes a while to get. There's a reason they didn't rely on comics but O&A were unlistenable without them.
R&F was hands down the funnier show, and in many ways it was more mean and edgy. O&A were just the lazy version of R&F. O&A showed up to play themselves, rely on comics fighting, and hit each other with rude one liners. R&F showed up to do real character work, real bits with prep put in, real abstract comedy. They never thought the 'show' was them bullshitting, they treated it like a show. R&F was definitely more of an artistic hipster crowd, they did way more 'fake' radio shit which everyone seems to think is real.
Everytime Fez cries on air you can hear the whole bit. I realized it was all fake the few times they went waaay too ironic, like having Fez cry so often but then Fez would mock Roland for 5 minutes straight calling him a baby for crying on O&A. So you're telling me Fez would be in full mental illness tailspin mode, yet he would still play along with the "Homo says what?" bit with the callers? The whole show was a brilliant work.
That's dumb, I can easily list off great O&A shows. But no one here seems to be able to do that with R&F...
I *have* searched youtube a couple of times whenever I hear this and I still haven't found any great shows. Do I really have to listen for months to "get" it, before I find it funny? If so that's weird as hell.
I liked ron and fez also. But cmon, fez collected a paycheck for like the final five years of the show, without even saying a word. That use to piss me off. Although he did say cake-horn which was great. And I remember when opie got jealous cause they got cakehorn trending #1 on twitter
Fez had a complete mental breakdown, and stayed on the radio through it. Everyday he came in, and Ron would interrogate him. It was the most compelling radio I've ever heard. Ron and Fez was the best radio show ever, Stern doesn't come close.
Man, that was kinda sad. You can tell he was excited for her and Ron, but you could also hear in his voice that call took every bit of sanity and calm he could muster. Good for Fez...and FUCK MIKEY D!
Typically fez would answer any question with a single sentence followed by an awkward silence, then say “and that’s all I’ve got” to signal he’s finished speaking
Hearing those two being civil and acting quasi-normal reminded me of when I listened to them back in middle school and makes me dislike present day O and A even more
Hey my dudes: been binging on O&A for a while but unless it’s certain guests, I’m getting an itch to listen to different stuff. Where should I start with Ron and Fez? They also sound like they actually care about each other, which adds an element to the fun of picking on fez. No gregg,Jim, or ant shells. Any help is appreciated! Ps I know I’m a fag for asking, cut me slack.
I recommend just checking around various stuff, but especially Shark Holocaust, How Many 9 Year Old Can You Beat Up, Fez on Xanax, the first AFRO Show, Unscreened Phone Calls, and The Fainting Goat.
I think they discovered Annie DeFranco while still on NEW, but it certainly got the majority of play on WJFK. The interaction with the collection of misfits down there was perfect.
Just YouTube some best of Ron and Fez. Any Best Of with earl or Dave is great too. Some people love the early terrestrial radio days, but I really enjoyed the sat radio shows the best. Fez on Xanax is a great one too, search on YouTube
Besides the best-of's, the sagas are pretty good. The saga of Black Earl and the Midnight Rider Saga come to mind. Dave's inventions is good... along with Fez's talking cat. Pretty sure that cat ended up at the bottom of the hudson.
KNIFE CLUB is the clip that got me listening more. A listener sends them a big hunting knife and Ron gleefully proceeds to menace a panicked Fez with it.
u/FlashVirus Kyle is that you? are you that fat tongued retard that pissed on his own floor when he didn't realize he was still live streaming. Drunk retard.
That made me happy to hear Fez. Seems like he was able to move on from radio and be happy. Opie has a wife and two children and still has to go to Twitter to feed his ego.

Shark Holocaust, Beating up 9 year olds, and Fez trying to think of a joke in line at the drug store are great examples.
I also recommend the Fall of the Fainting Goat.
