I heard an awful Greggshells moment from the very beginning of an Otto show in ‘06 I think, Ant was out. Opie was almost ready to fight him because Otto made a light joke about Ant being out. Just despicable.

There was another point where Otto came in the middle of the show while they were talking about some shitty reality show and Otto just immediately trashed the whole segment to be funny but Opie took it seriously saying "It's a popular show asshole". Jim had to jump in and tell him to relax cuz he's joking.

I can't think of specifics and I hate to admit it but I can recall two, maybe three off the cuff lines that were pretty good. Granted, that's over the course of a 20 year career and each time he found a way to run the joke into the ground or ruin it somehow.

Once, and I mean once, he made me laugh. When Lisa Loeb promoted her best of album and he asked if it was "stay" 18 times.

His comedic 'armchair psychiatrist' schtick always seemed to 'lower' the fun mood of the room. Same as Opie, but in a different way.
