The way he talks, the way he acts, his addictions, his "passions" - they're all carefully constructed to convey a certain image to the world.

I never would have bought into the theory that his old angry, sarcastic persona was stolen from Colin Quinn but I 100% believe it now. There's not a genuine bone in this phoney little worm's body.
