From what I've seen, the wrestling community looking back really enjoys Todd and take a lot of his antics with a grain of salt since he was the main presenter for the pre-attitude era that was filled with drinking personas and edgier material, which Todd admitted in an interview he wouldn't be good for. Todd got a lot of praise for doing a podcast and letting them use his New York radio studio for the interview and people were happy to see someone who didn't leave on a bad note or have a bad experience there.

Sam, I honestly haven't seen anything nice written about him from cute girls who do original WWE artwork with thousands of followers to actual blue check marked users. They all hate him and his incredibly shallow questions, not to mention how he brings up rival wrestling leagues on a WWE show and asked Booker T what it was like being the WWF champion.
