can Sirius really not afford free subscriptions?

I was listening to the Jim and Sam replay this afternoon, when I heard Bobo say that He doesn't have Sirius because his family could not afford it. are they so fucking cheap they can't give this guy a $75 yearly sub? there is probably over 100 hours of Bobo audio.

I just got a $25 for six month deal. They're desperate. No one wants to pay to listen to MP3 quality music.
