For someone who wasn't born with a deformity or maimed in an accident, he is astoundingly hideous. You'd have to be a genius artist to even imagine somebody as gruesome looking as Trejo cheeks. He's like a Francis Bacon painting or something described in an HP Lovecraft story.

He's like a 1930's noir villain, it's spectacular. The right level of greasiness, the right level rumpleness both in face and clothing, the furtive glare and mannerisms. A prefect cut rate ne'er-do-well.
