They brought up the whole Ninja/Drake stream which generated millions of viewers. Jim immediately dismisses the medium as stupid and worthless. Obviously rationalizing away that he had an opportunity to start doing the video game thing on the show every now and then, and possibly attract some new listeners.

Joke if you want, but I would absolutely watch Norton play GTA on a stream and i think a lot of other people would too.

Then Sam decides to chime in with his bevy of gaming knowledge. He brings up Leroy Jenkins and expresses complete stupor at the fact that it was fake fake so fake.

They then played the video in its entireity and talked over all of the relevant points. They did NOT listen to the video ironically. Sam and Travis point out how funny it is that they planned the whole attack out during the video, but then they talk over all the preparation. They even talk over the line itself.

I'm finally cracking, I don't love J&S but I didn't think it was nearly as bad as people kept saying, but this sort of thing has happened many times before and they just keep stacking up, the idiotic discussion of something they know nothing about, followed by a half hearted "ok let's talk about this anyway, but don't make any jokes in case the audience wants to get ANYTHING out of this at all"

I'm not listening to that but anytime they would talk about movies or video games it was infuriating because of how little they knew about either one. Music too.

Unsure but they talked about it as if it represented the gaming community. Not as a joke or a diss either. They get like 20k views per video on their channel and they just completely ignore this sector of life. They try their hand at politics instead... a subject that they also do not understand.
