Can't wait for 2018 Tough Crowd with hosted by Kevin Hart, with Amy Schumer, Jim Norton, and Kumail Nanjiani. Everything that made the show funny died, or became uninterested in television.
I would miss Giraldo the most in a Tough Crowd reboot. Patrice was incredible on the radio, but Tough Crowd wasn't the greatest format for him - everyone's responses had to be kept short and it really never gave him time to break things down the way he liked to on O&A. But Giraldo was always funny and really schooled a lot of people on the show. He seems like he was a really smart dude.
But really, the original Tough Crowd almost always had at least 1-2 shitty people. That was half the fun for me - watching some dummy get their shit kicked in by a vicious DiPaolo. Give me Nick and Colin and I'd watch it no matter who the other 3 were. There's some young people I'd like to see on it, but really Tough Crowd is done for good anyway.
... have we tried making a petition.org type thing? Not because it would have binding action, but because it was signal that there is real interest in TC. Worth a try.
