Horace & Pete unmasked Louis for what he really is: a pompous faggot. His years as a funny comic are akin to Schumer's years as portraying a Republican.
He was funny and had a solid base of fans but then began to pander to ideologs. He abandoned his base and the ideologs skewered him and now he has nothing.
He still has a shot at redemption though, I have a feeling he will put out a new special in the future that will be so good it makes people forget about his faggotry and his jerking off
The thing I respect about him is that the writes, produces, finances, directs, edits his own stuff. So he could in theory just create a brand new show that looks totally professional and release it online.
I imagine HBO owns the rights to the show Louie.
