I just got in from getting hammered..and for some reason remembered this film. I'm now gonna watch it and eat a sandwhich. The movie had some amazing characters. The demon Billy Zane, the sassy old black lady who gets her arm ripped off. William Sadler was great. The crazy mailman. And of course Uncle Willie, who sold his soul for booze and babes. Great movie.

It was FAAAAAARRRRRR better than Bordello. Bordello was good for cheap laughs when you'd get stoned. Demon knight was an actual great film all around. Funny, violent, great characters, well developed, dark, sinister, very well written and acted.

This movie also has the excellent Cemetery Gates by Pantera on it, as well as good songs by Machine Head, Megadeth, Melvins, Biohazard and Sepultura. Those Tales From the Crypt movies had great sound tracks.

On top of being one of the best horror movies of the 90's, it also featured Chasey Lain's tits while she was still in her prime.

Billy Zane and William Sadler both deserved better careers than what they got. Billy's awesome in Demon Knight, and has to do a lot of different things with his character. He's a phenomenal actor, and has a lot of range. Unfortunate how he disappeared. And Sadler was a more than competent character actor who really deserved more lead roles after Demon Knight proved he could carry a whole movie on his back.

So unfortunate that Bordello of Blood was such a bag of shit that they buried the idea of making more TFTC movies.
