If the O&A universe was a scripted TV show, when would you have stopped watching because the writing got shit, or it got unbelievable, or they replaced your favourite character with a deteriorating AIDS patient, or whatever?

by the time Patrice died probably; certainly by the time "Viral Video Guru" Opie and "Mumbling Buzzkill" Opie appeared on the show

Patrice was the bedrock of funny and masculinity on that show. He called everyone out on their bullshit and exposed illogical arguments.

Without him around, there is no "dude", no truly male presence to unpussify all these suddenly vaginal hacks.

God I miss Patrice

Its better than ever

About a year or two after they moved to SIRIUS

The second they hired those progressive writers and suddenly everybody was getting beat up by a sassy black girl or having relationships with trannies.

I get that the actor who played Chris Kuhn was really difficult to work with on set, but the whole "oh no I killed my son stealing a soundbar" end of his story arc felt really phony. Especially the part where he looked at his dying son's body before hiding in the bushes - NOBODY would do that shit in real life. That was just the writers being petty little cunts.

It seemed a little far fetched

Treyvon, apology clock, Obama's second term

That would be the equivalent of when a sitcom tries to become oddly dramatic or political. After every episode, Anthony would come out (haha) and talk about a serious issue facing our world today - Niggers

We've had a lot of fun tonight, folks, joking about the negro and separate water fountains. But, if we could be serious for a moment, these got damn niggers are fighting in McDonalds car parks and now there's one in the god damn Oval Office. It's gonna be like Planet of the Apes. They're gonna take our guns. They need to learn to beeeeehaaaaave

I think it all went to shit when Anthony was fired. Everything was good before that, nothing was ever good after that. If I had any self-respect I would have bowed out then and just cherished the fond memories, like I did long ago with The Simpsons. But here I am everyday, checking this sub and commenting on the various, depressing antics of the O and A crew.

His character arc was complete. He went from a goofy goof to an increasingly obsolete racist, similar to how Walter White went from Mr Chips to Scarface. They should have killed him off, now the writers don't know what to do with him so they're throwing all different storylines at the wall to see what sticks. Domestic abuse plot went nowhere, drug addled co-host plot isn't getting much traction, the tranny fucking thing they obviously want to hide as much as Lucas with the Star Wars Holiday Special.
