So hey, I didn’t see this till just now. Thank you u/maynardsbeast for standing up for me. The bumps are actually acne caused by PCOS . I have really bad anxiety, and one of the (unhealthy, might I add) behaviors I do to relieve that stress is pick at them. I’ve tried to stop for years, but have never been able to. I’ve had them since I was a teenager and have been self-conscious of them ever since. I’ve always felt ashamed of my acne, even with its hormonal cause.
I’ve never thought they were cute or anything and have always wanted to hide it. I thought I was (and still am) less than other girls and women because of it. I may have some redeeming personality traits, but it never mattered. I can’t wear a bathing suit or anything but a tshirt because I feel like, for the betterment of others, no one should see what my chest looks like.
OP, I already bully myself like this enough. I don’t need someone else to do it for me.
