Actually people love Mussolini to this day in Italy, there's even a museum about him in his home town. Plus he got killed off by commies who were hoping to stage a coup to take over the cunt (this sounds geographically unlikely until you realize that Yugoslavia was pretty much Italy's neighobour) or at least do a Korea style North/South divide with the allies but logistically and timing wise it didn't work out.

Mussolini is an extremely controversial figure in Italy, most people here want nothing to do with him and his legacy.
