An A-list Junkie

Here's a horseshit article about Artie's Very Special Episode (literally) of "Crashing" from NY Magazine, a publication that I used to enjoy. http://www.vulture.com/2018/02/judd-apatow-pete-holmes-crashing-artie-lange-drugs.html

Having watched Artie's shenanigans over the past year, I can say that I feel nothing but contempt for his addiction and attempts to make amends via Twitter ("You guys are just the bestest fans ever! I don't deserve this 89th chance at redemption! Judd/Ant/Howard/current meal ticket is just awesome, I don't deserve him, etc.)

Fuck off. His addictions are part of his identity at this point. What are we supposed to take away from a whole episode about him being a junkie? Empathy? Compassion? Articles like this just enable this garbage and I hate that he is given validation by mainstream media and his comic friends.

You're not deep or complex. You're a junkie.

He's tormented dude. Every heroin addict is a deeply twisted Kurt cobain esque artiste.

Why would a civilian understand the trials and tribulations these comics go through?

Comedians carry the burden of knowing how the world really works, maaaaan...

He's C-list, if that.

He admitted the other day that he's not going to be in season 3 because they all think he'll be in jail

Artie isnt even on his dealer's A list

Artie has the compulsions of a literal bum.

Not a mention of you know who and you know what.

It's nice to see Artie's crippling heroin addiction finally paying off with some real TV roles. Opiates are really "in" right now, maybe everything's finally starting to go his way.
