Opie was always the most serious/unfunny during Jocktobers, but was the most defensive when shows responded back

I was listening to 10/5/10 Jocktober of the atom smasher show where they shit on atom and the hole for like an hour. The next day, before launching into a new Jocktober, they see atom responded to Jocktober, and Opie immediately gets defensive. It’s funny because Jimmy notices opie is getting upset so he jumps in to say “they have to respond, how can we get mad”.. of course, in true Opie fashion, still gets pissy and acts like a little girl.
Lately I can’t decide who I loathe more, Jim or Tranth. But then I listen to old shows like these, and my hatred for Opie is renwed. He is truly the worst.

This is the main reason why I'm here. Opie hate. Thanks for getting us back on track. 🍻

I would be much happier if he was cut out of every single piece of audio and disappeared from the world

above all else, Jim and Ants descent is just sad because they had more potential.
Opie never had potential and always stunk and he could kill a person tomorrow and somehow make it less interesting than Ant's drunken twitter battles.

You can almost say that he "steers the sub in the right direction"....eh?

They’ve always been that way. They bash every radio show out there and expect them to cower and hide. The second a show fights back even a little O&A would completely unravel.

Remember "Dopie and Agony"? They couldn't stop feeding into that half-tards videos.

I’m talking about anyone who would confront them directly. Every time they’d make themselves look foolish, especially Opie. The only exceptions are maybe Cool Guy and Maxwell.

And even then they came across like bullies when it comes to Cool Guy. They only know how to fight with weaker opponents.

It's why I'm good Stern always gave them the Pay no Mind treatment. Smartest move he ever did.

The thing is, Jim and Anthony managed to make 2+ hours worth of humorous observations on that guy. Opie's contributions amounted to "We don't even know you!!!1!"

I always enjoyed when Opie would make a statement about a suject and Jim or Ant would respond with a somewhat insightful observation. Then Opie goes silent for 5-10 as Jim and Ant discuss it and once the conversation starts flowing Opie yells something like "Let me just say one thing!" until they shuttup and then state their response to his original comment. That's radio fucking gold.

Thanks for actually providing a source without us having to remember some random clip for a decade ago.

The most embarrassing one was when Sarah Jessica Parker called in, and both Opie, and Anthony, crumbled like the foundations of Amy Schumer's house.

Opie always knew that without Ant and the crew he would be doing Jocktoberable shows himself.
