Does anyone actually believe Anthony failed to graduate high school because he couldn't pass gym?

Don't get me wrong, of course he was an unathletic faggot but it seems far-fetched that he would be denied a GED simply because he didn't have gym credits.

I'm sure the frail twerp failed gym but the reason he didn't graduate was almost certainly down to the fact that he's a lazy dummy who performed horribly academically.

Yea I actually believe him, I know a couple of guys who never got a diploma for the exact same thing. One guy refused to dress for gym & the other rarely showed up & when he did he wouldn’t participate, ironically they were both Sicilians like Ant.

I meant that as an inner voice comment, not something someone would say to another person and I'm sure it bothers him deep down. And no, from everything he's ever said he didn't know "exactly where his life was going." He was barely scraping by in manual labour before his brother accidentally introduced him to Opie. Opie recorded them and shopped it to radio stations. Anthony blindly stumbled into a career in radio.

he probably got made fun of by students or was just ignored. Had a massive inferiority complex and couldn't deal with what was happening at home. What was Jim's excuse? he didn't want to take French class? I was an awful student (as you can tell by my writing) and still managed to graduate without ever having to go to summer school. All you had to do was show up and do a little work. The school and the teachers wanted you out. A friend of mine didn't graduate, and I'm telling you that stigma stays with you. He still talks about it and that was fifteen-years-ago.
